Hello, Professor & Classmates; The theorists I’ve chosen is John Stewart Mill (1806 – 1873), I’ve included his birth and death dates to show how his theories still ring clear in healthcare today. It will be his ethical theories that take us into the next millennia. The one approach that sticks with me the most is The Subjection of Women which is an important work in the history and fight of feminism. The fight for women’s equality took more than a century of protest to change the social attitudes of the subordination of women to men (Heydt, n.d). Without Mill having a stake in the status of women, we may not be prominent as nurse practitioners, physicians, or pharmacists today. The core theory that is a great contribution to healthcare today
