Have you taken a ride on the wild side? These guys definitely have. When I talk about “these guys” I mean Mötley Crüe. Mötley Crüe is a rock and roll band that has changed the world of music. With the combination of Vince Neil (lead vocals), Nikki Sixx (bass), Mick Mars (guitar), and Tommy Lee (drums) they have been known to be one of the greatest rock bands in history.

Johnny Manziel wins the highest honor in college football, the Heisman as a freshman, the very first freshman to do so. The quarterback from Texas A&M was the second Heisman winner from Texas A&M, first since John David Crow in 1957. Manziel won the award in the year of 2013, his stats were unbelievable, he accumulated: 3,419 passing yards, 1,181 rushing yards, 24 passing touchdowns, and 19 rushing. Johnny Cade was a 17 year old greaser who died a hero and was one of the many members of the greasers. He was born in March 1, 1949 and died in 1965. His cause of death was in a crazy fire when he got severe burns and a broken back when a big piece of burning wood fell on him. He was a very quiet boy and was proud of his long black very greasy hair and was called a hero by many for risking his life for saving those kids. He was also on the newspaper for that ame action.

It was New Year’s Eve 2014 and “Billy Johnson” (real name omitted) was driving home after a small get-together with his friends to celebrate the start of the upcoming New Year. Johnson left the gathering around 2:30 a.m. and began his 2.5 hour drive home. When halfway through the drive he was hit head on by a drunk driver at 63 mph. Johnson ended up dying at the hospital later that night. He left behind a wife and four small children all under the age of 10. Within an instant, the lives of his wife and children were changed forever. “Kayla Johnson” (real name omitted) suddenly became a widow and struggled to figure out how she would provide for her family all by herself. You see, she was a stay-at-home mom and Billy was the sole provider for their family. But now that he was gone, she was lost. Over a year went by, and Kayla still found herself struggling after the loss of Billy. As a result, in the spring of 2016 Kayla filed a wrongful-death lawsuit against the drunk driver who killed Billy. It was a long and difficult lawsuit and trial for Kayla and her family to go through but in the fall of 2017 Kayla was awarded $3 million dollars.

Upchurch The Redneck. Ryan Upchurch isn’t just your typical average person. Upchurch comes from the backwoods of Cheatham County, TN. Upchurch got his start by posting videos of himself ranting about little things on social media such as Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat, Upchurch would rant about anything, from serious things too little things to put a smile on someone's face. He rants about anything, how he feels, what he thinks about things, from the presidential election, to trending things. He would rant about things in a serious, but, yet comedic way. From expressing how he feels through his videos he also makes music. Although he makes ranting videos to express himself, he also makes music to express himself. He basically talks about coming from the backwoods and not having a hand out, how he worked/s for everything he has, what it likes to have start from having nothing, to having everything. He also started his own clothing line on Redneck Nation. Upchurch’s most famous quotes are “Whatcha think ‘bout that, son?” and “Just Gopher It.” or “RHEC”.

Walt Disney once said, “It’s kind of fun to do the impossible,” and I guess he was right. Disney made films that made a wooden puppet into a real boy, a thief into a handsome, and a beast into a man. Disney created dreams for little kids of becoming royalty, but was that all they had in mind? Although Disney films may seem full of happy thoughts with true love’s kiss, but in reality they are just bibidi bodibi booed with a dash of pixie dust to hide the real truth behind the films.

While Johnny lay on his deathbed he writes his final act of heroism. In Johnny’s last breaths, he writes a letter to Pony. Pony read the letter from Johnny, “It’s worth saving those kids. There lives are worth more than mine, they have more to live for” (Hinton 178). Basically, he said saving the kids was worth the pain, and that he feels that their lives are worth more than his. This act of heroism shows that Johnny is not afraid of dying and he is willing to save others even if he doesn’t personally know

I had just got home tired from work when i had turned on the television. The local Fox 16 news were on. They were breaking the news about this inmate that had escaped prison. They gave a description of how he look like. The inmate name was Johnny Reed, his age 31, short around 5’5, light skin, his hair was braided and in a mahogany. I have a dream that one day humans can be recognized for who they are and what they can do. Instead of being judged for something as simple as skin pigmentation or unappealing looks, it should be recognized as something greater. Along with a more open society, I dream that people will begin to take a focus away from social media. As society moves forward, people are beginning to look the other way on pressing issues in the world they live in. If people were open to looking past appearances, there is a higher chance of equality and progress in the world.
