For some people, being a hero or having heroic attributes includes zooming in with super speed to save to city from a monster, but in reality there are no aliens or super powers. A hero is someone who puts others needs before theirs, like Elie Wiesel in Night. Sometimes people aren’t considered heroes, but have heroic attributes like Hans in Journey to the Center of the Earth. Heroes like George Washington are heroes who are also leaders. Although many heroes are considered heroes, some are just put in situations where they must be heroic in order to survive.

     A hero is defined in classical mythology as a man, especially the son of a god and a mortal, who is famous for possessing some extraordinary gift. Beowulf, the title character of an epic poem and Superman, a more modern day hero are both prime examples. Beowulf and Superman exhibit several differences, but they also share some similar qualities.

When you think of heroes, you might think of Superman or someone like Batman. In reality heroes don't wear costumes. A hero is a person who does their best to accomplish something that can help people weather that is mentally or physically. Anyone can be a hero no matter what. Heroes are not classified by their age, gender, race, religion, or where they come from.

A multitude of people think of a person with superpowers when they think of a hero. However, a hero can be a regular person with a completely normal life. And while the definition for the word hero in the dictionary is someone who’s admired for their great deeds, bravery, or noble qualities; a hero is any person that do those things without being admired or even thanked.

Heroes is a being that is admired for courage. Most times people think heroes are people who save others and many times it is true but Theseus, Perseus, and Hercules are a bit different. These heroes have have been favored by gods. Also they have traits such as having confidence and some not very intelligent. Every hero is different and these heroes go through very different journeys.

Heroes are not always wearing capes and masks, there are heroes that exist without wearing the costumes that are typical in Hollywood movies. Around the world, there are heroes in many shapes and forms that people do not realize. Heroes are people that people admire for their noble qualities. An example of a hidden hero is a psychiatrist. Even though they do not have the physical looks of a hero like those in movies, they do have the traits of heroes. The traits that make a person a hero is being caring, being honest, and having the will to help people.

Hero is not like Superman or Spiderman that have a super power to save people. But for me, hero is someone or something that can help and save me in state of emergency. For example is my motorcycle, without it I can’t go to everyplace that important to spend my hours in this life. Maybe it’s looks strange, but that’s fact. Now, I will tell you about heroes.

An ordinary person might think that to be a hero superpowers are needed, which is not true. Though there are some precise qualities every wannabe hero has got to have. First thing is to identify your weaknesses and strengths. That can be achieved by either writing some of your actions down or asking the people surrounding you for feedback on what you do. Then make a change, improve your strong points, accept your weaknesses and turn them into strengths. Another quality to become an extraordinary person is to be patient. Patience leads to better thinking. Even though heroes seem to be quick thinkers, they ponder over everything before they take action. Which means that they consider multiple options before choosing the best fit for the situation.

A hero is someone who can be real life or a figure, as seen on television. A hero is also someone that can be a role model, trustworthy, or helpful. We come across heroes on a daily basis. For example, it may be a doctor, police officer, family member, or a friend. The heroes on television appear to be advanced in supernatural powers such as flying or invisibility. Although heroes do not have special abilities, they still sacrifice a part of themselves and are selfless. Heroes do not need superpowers to do what is honorable. The kid that stays in school to become a scientist and invent a cure for cancer. Ordinary people who do the tiniest things in society are heroes, curing people for a disease is much more heroic than being able to lift an entire home.

A group of ordinary people once wrote “A hero understands when people want to know how things are, you understand that many of them don't want to know what your therapy life is affecting your family life, they want assurance that events will turn out for the best, that life will stay predictable.” Anyone can realize when someone needs help and understand that people may not want help, but most of the time those people still go ahead and help that person and even try to help their life for the better. Even when tough decisions or obstacles are thrown your way, heroism means putting others before yourself, knowing that there is no recognition that comes with helping and one still does it, and fighting for the better good of others.
