I gladly write this letter of recommendation for Joseph Young and his accomplishments as a Child Care Counselor at Kidpeace for three years. As supervisor, I had the pleasure of working with and overseeing Joseph during his time with Kidpeace. When Joseph joined us, he did not have any first-hand experience in counseling, but he quickly exceeded our expectations by completing new and challenging projects at a professional level while working with the children on his unit. During the years I’ve known him, Joseph has worked hard and it showed in his ability to relate and successfully counsel the young men on his unit. I believe you would benefit greatly for accepting Joseph into your Practicum/ Internship program at Pinebrook. Joseph has proven
William Cody Childress, a then 16 year old Independence High School Student, received corporal punishment looking at a picture on a camera in class. Childress alleged the paddling he received violated his civil rights. The female student who brought the camera to school was not disciplined. Corey Blaylock, the high school principal, administered corporal punishment to Childress. Childress alleged he was hit twice, with excessive force, in September 2009. The incident caused him pain when he sat or used the bathroom in the days that followed. The lawsuit further stated that when Childress returned home, his stepmother took him to North Oak Regional Medical Center in Senatobia for an examination of his injuries. Frank 's memoir explores a lot about childhood till adolescent development. Out of the family relations Anne Frank had as well as her physical development in an extremely difficulty environment, one can effectively analyze her life in the context of several child development theorists and concepts (Frank, 1997, p. 45). Powerful as well as poignant diarisitic memoir, Anne Frank’s work during her time with her family hiding in a little attic when Amsterdam was under Nazi occupation in the 2nd World War is highly regarded globally. Although Anne 's diary is often considered as an important document of childhood growth as well as discovery of a teenage girl, it has had an enormous effect as a narrative which details the difficulties Jewish citizens faced under the Nazi Party amid the most horrible years of the 2nd World War. Her honest portrayal of time in hiding, placed against the background war, offers a straightforward view into the most tragic period of human history.

It is with great honor that I write this letter of recommendation for Treniya Bronaugh. I have watched Treniya grow from a toddler to a high school student. Not only has this observation been one of her physical growth, but one of character development. She is like family, as both our families shared the same last name and we grew up calling each other cousins.
There are a number of recommendations, investigations and considerations that can be implemented to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children. Firstly, Cara is a good option for Lydia and Lilly to be temporarily placed with as she shares the same cultural values and is known to the family however it is clear that due to Cara’s age and her situation of already caring for two other children her capacity to care for the Lydia and Lilly is low. Where possible the younger Pederson children should be placed into temporary kinship foster care. It is evident that child welfare professionals agree that children are better off being placed with kin as they demonstrate a stronger sense of belonging when place in kinship foster care and kinship foster care present many benefits to children such as identity formation (Beeman & Boisen, 1999). Charles Young was born on March 12, 1864 in Kentucky. He was born to parents Arminta Bruen and Gabriel Young, who had just escaped from slavery before Charles was born. When Charles Young went to school, he attended an all white high school in Ripley. He one of the only African Americans in the school. He graduated from the Ripley high school in 1880.After high school he went and taught for a few years in a black school that had just opened up in his area. In 1883, Young decided to take a competitive test to be put in as a cadet, in the U.S. Army at West Point. He ended up having the second highest score in the area but, the number one student was not able to leave. Young went to West Point in 1884 where again, he was of the only African Americans
Before reading the autobiography of Benjamin Franklin and the Narrative of Mary Rowlandson, I only knew very basic information about these two historical figures. Their stories made me more aware of the commitment and the choices that both individuals had to make to get through life. When I look for similarities of Benjamin Franklin’s autobiography with the Captivity of Mary Rowlandson, I do not find many. Benjamin Franklin liked an adventure and he knew exactly what he wanted in life. On the other hand, Mary Rowlandson was a devote Christian who did all her work based off her religion.
The father of a child who was found wandering alone in Londonderry Thursday has been arrested.
Are Ophelia's words disregarded in the play and are women's words disregarded in contemporary culture? Ophelia's torn between her father brother relationship and her lover relationship. She is told lies by her brother and father saying that Hamlet is crazy and doesn't love her. He has women other than her and doesn't care for her anymore. In reality Hamlet does care for Ophelia and does love her.
Working with children requires us to build positive relationships with them quickly, but also in ways that are professional.
It is an honor to write this letter of recommendation for Austin as he nears his goal of obtaining the rank Eagle Scout. I’ve known Austin his entire life and remember when he first started cub scouts. Each summer Austin comes to Georgia and visits with his family and each year he is excited to get back home to scout summer camp.
I am writing this letter in the regards of Luke Wiesboeck. We have been close friends for 3 years, through different student organizations at Missouri State University. I have acted like as a mentor to Luke during this friendship. I am very proud of Luke’s progression as a leader.
It’s with great privilege to write this letter of recommendation on behalf of Machayla Longfoot, a Senior FFA member at Judson High School. Machayla is an outstanding student and a valuable part of her FFA chapter. Over the past three years she has developed into one of the strongest leaders in her chapter. Machayla is someone her fellow FFA members look up to and seek guidance from. She can be counted on and is a good organizer when something needs to be accomplished.
Her enthusiasm about attending the University of Michigan-Dearborn was not something to be overlooked. Being a mother, you want your children to grow up having them value education, reflect a moral and responsible outlook of what their future can hold for them if they work hard enough for it, and never give up trying. Education and maintaining excellent grades is one thing Taleen has worked very hard towards over the years I have known her. In addition, I can gladly produce a list of other parents and volunteer coordinators who can also support this Letter of Recommendation for the responsible and committed person Taleen is. There are many of us who have seen first hand the dedication and confidence she shows on a daily
The Birmingham Children's Crusade, a march by hundreds of school students, boys and girls of all ages in Birmingham, Alabama. The students began the march on May 2-5, 1963. This march was during the Civil Rights Movements of the Birmingham Campaign. Students marched to fight against segregation in Birmingham, Alabama. For African- American children in Birmingham, the Civil Rights Movement was part of the children's lives everyday, an important part in history, that changed the way life is today. As a group of audacious kids, they fought against fire hoses, police dogs, police batons, and bombs, and they decided, blacks, whites, and other races, should be integrated, and equaled as a whole. The Birmingham Children, were arrested and beaten in order for Birmingham integration, for not only blacks, but other races as well. The kids
