Tragic hero William Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar presents a good example of a tragic hero. This tragic hero is Marcus Brutus. A tragic hero usually comes out of nobility. A tragic hero also goes through tragic events because of his actions. Marcus Brutus is is the tragic hero in this story. He qualifies as a tragic hero because he comes out of nobility. His ancestor is Junius Brutus. Junius overthrew a tyrant to create a democracy in Rome. His ancestor is important because Caesar is about to become a tyrant and Brutus must make a vital decision that can either save or destroy everything Junius worked for. Brutus suffers a catastrophe because he has to kill Caesar and he knows the conspirators he does it with are not doing it for the honorable
