In his spoken word song “I Love Kanye”, West pokes fun at the media’s egotistical perception of himself. He raps, “What if Kanye made a song about Kanye? // Call it ‘Mr. Old Kanye’, man that’d be so Kanye // that’s all it was Kanye, we still love Kanye // and I love you like Kanye loves Kanye…” (I Love 1). The duo of Jay-Z and Kanye West at one point in time was equivalent to the level of dominance of Shaq and Kobe. The memories the two have provided fans over the years are something we will live with forever. For me personally, Kanye has had his hand in a lot of my favorite Jay-Z songs growing up. Tracks like "Lucifer", "Encore", and "Heart of the City" are songs that I still listen to on the regular today. With the number of classic material the two have provided, I'm still in disbelief as to where their relationship is at currently.

In November 10, 2007 Kanye West mother, Donda West died because a heart disease. This led Kanye to hide for a few months and not been seen. Many of his close friend who also work with him in the studio mentioned that after his mother passed away, Kanye was different. His mood will change randomly and sometimes turn aggressive. To get to the place where he is today, he had to fight like a warrior. He fought until he got signed to Roc-A-Fella, but soon after he got signed, he got into a serious accident that caused his jaw to be wired shut. Thankfully that didn’t stop him. He wrote an amazing song “Through the Wire,” and later got it produced. As stated before, Kanye West went through especially hard obstacles. He got rejected many times from various producers. He even got his jaw to be wired shut, but that didn’t stop him from fighting for his dream. He achieved his dream of becoming a serious rapper, and on top of that, he created a successful fashion line, and became a record producer.

From many of West’s accomplishments the album “Graduation” which was released in 2007 is one of the best albums he has produced. The album contained segments of many foundation of music such as soul, rock, electro, dub and so on which advocated the audience to realize his talent and intelligence through his creativity and articulated lyrics that mainly emphasizes his perspective, identity, and fame that he has built for himself. Kanye West was born in 1997 in Georgia but mainly grew up in Chicago with his mother after his parents got divorced when he was three. West was exposed to Chicago’s hip hop culture at a very young age and met a DJ that eventually became his mentor throughout his youth.

Kanye West likely seeks reinforcement and loves attention, negative or positive from individuals he does not know, or is not familiar with because of his constant need for attention. He acts the way he does due to his thought process and erratic personality/ personality disorders.

From the beginning of his career in 2001 as a producer he quickly became one of the leading figures in hip-hop. While his personality has always been one of his driving forces in terms of popularity, lately it has been the main thing that music criticizers focus on when they review his newly released music. For example, when Kanye West dropped his album The Life Of Pablo in 2016 news outlets quickly began to write more articles about his clothing line or apparent “split personalities” that he was displaying during this time period. One review of this article, written by a Pitchfork writer named Jayson Greene, almost completely ignores how the album actually sounds and instead goes into detail about the cultural significance to which this album and Kanye West have made. It gives little info on what you can expect from the album and goes into more detail about his legacy than anything else.

His second album, Late Registration, was met also met with critical acclaim. With his recent successes and connection to the youth of America, West took an opportunity to help the people affected by Hurricane Katrina by appearing on TV alongside Michael Myers for a Red Cross event.

When it comes to running a business, your hustle and work ethic are your bread and butter. Sure, you may have a product that is out of this world, but if your business model is shaky, it could spell trouble for your brand. There is something to be said for Kanye’s consistency in his message and branding. Likeable or not, the rapper believes in his goals, which is crucial to the equation.

Kanye in the begging when he first came on the hip hop scene was this calm, joyful, his music in my eyes was the most different music out at the time, just because he wasn’t rapping about what everyone else was. Kim and Kanye liked each other right away and started dating almost right away. What made them fall for each other was that both of them loved family and made sure family always came first.
