Karl Marx’s Theory Karl Marx was one of the many sociologist who was trying to look at society and how it can function in a new way. Marx’s was a German social philosopher, cultural commentator, and was political activist. He developed the terms “Conflict Theory” and “Marxism”. To start off with conflict theory is defined as a paradigm that see social conflict as the basis of society, social change and emphases a materialist view of society. Social inequality which is the unequal distribution of wealth, power, and among prestige members of society. Majority of Marx’s ideas became very popular to the world and was used by many countries political system’s which became a communism and developed enemy countries and democracies. While in the middle of a political turmoil people stared to believe that Marx’s beliefs to be misled and unbelievable. Many sociologist still think that Marx’s theory is still a powerful thing to the social phenomena. In any form there is bound to be conflict within any social group. Conflict can be defined as competition among different groups for scarce resources and social change. During the industrial revolution where technological advances and wealth was a benefit for the people who were working in agricultural, were Marx’s believed that’s where most of the problem were caused by capitalism.
