About The Band KARMIN was formed in 2010 in Boston and is still currently an active group. When Amy attended Berkelee College of music she met Nick Noonan who then became friends and they eventually formed the band Karmin. The only members of this band are Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan. They have received an award for best song and they have created multiple albums such as: Pulses, TBA, and Karmin covers. The genres of their music are pop, hip hop, dance and indie rock. When they first started off they would post videos on youtube but not many people searched up their songs. In 2010 they came out with their debut release called ‘Inside Out’ which became a big hit for them. ‘Inside Out’ had an acoustic sound which made it more popular. ‘Take It Away’ is an original song, which got preformed for the basketball finals. In 2012 a few of their songs got played on Saturday night Live. In 2013 one of their songs ‘Acapella’ was a huge hit in New Zealand and Australia. Just recently in 2014 their new album ‘Pulses’ was a major hit all across America. Some of the instruments they use are vocals, drums, the trombone, and guitar. She grew up in Nebraska, and when she was in the sixth grade she realized that she had an amazing voice and that is when she realized that she wanted to be a professional singer. She got a music scholarship to Berkelee Music College. When she was at the Berkelee College of Music in 2006 she met Nick Noonan who is now a member of the band. At college she was taking song writing and business type courses. In 2010 Amy got noticed on different videos she posted of her rapping and singing and many record places noticed her as well. She recently got engaged to her partner Nick Noonan. Amy has an amazing voice she is also very good at rapping which they used in multiple
