Thirdly, I choose to write about her because the day she died on is my birthday. When I began my research about Celia Cruz the number of awards, Grammys, and titles she earned amazed me. The more I continued to learn, I learned she was a hard worker and never gave up her dreams. If I were endeavoring to become a well-known celebrity she would be my role model. Celia Cruz was one of the most famous Cuban salsa singers. She was nicknamed the Queen of Salsa, with more than thirty-six albums, recorded with some other leading singers in Latin music. Celia worked as a singer for more than forty years, and during that time, she became well known for her vigorous work, great personality, and her emotional way of singing. During her performances, she was well known for being able to improvise lyrics. She was an artist with over six decades of success making her an inspiration to the Latin community as well as the rest of the world.

Myranda Aguilar has been working in health care for 15 years and for the past two years she’s been working as a privacy analyst for Sutter Health located in Sacramento California. As a privacy analyst her duties are protection of patients’ privacy, compliance, and information security. Her responsibilities are to monitor and investigate any suspicious activity by taking a proactive standpoint against hackers, educate hospital staff on how to protect patients’ privacy, and ensure patients safety during their stay in the hospital. She works with elected board members of the health committee program she works for. Upon my arrival, I was met by a Hispanic female adult verbally identified as Martha Paredes. Paredes stated that about 1530 hours her son Stephan Paul (06/06/2001) was "jumped" by six students from school (Mojave High School) as he was walking home. Paredes stated that Paul identified one of the students as Christian Medrano(04/18/2002). Paredes then stated she found Medrano's facebook page and was able to locate his address(57 Rosa Rosales Ct). Paredes went on to say that she spoke with Medrano's mother (Alma Fuentes) who stated that Medrano has a history of miss behaving and that if Paredes needed to press charges on Medrano to do so. Paredes then stated that she was going to go to the school on Wednesday in an effort to try and identify the other juveniles involved. Paredes completed a voluntary statement and emailed me a screenshot of Medrano's Facebook page.

In 2013, a man, investigators named the “Sexual Cyber Terrorist” extorted over 350 women by hacking into their email accounts and baiting them into giving him nude photos. If the women did not comply with his demand he threatened to hack into their social media accounts and posting photos that he allegedly already had of them. Another ploy to obtain these photos from women would be to pose as close friends and get them to send nude photos. After a thorough investigation the FBI found more than 3,000 nude to seminude photos of victims. The “Sexual Cyber Terrorist”, Karen (Gary) Kazaryan was sentenced to 5 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to all charges.

Kenia Calderon has been an active leader since 2013, when she became vocal about her lack of legal status to improve the lives of the undocumented youth in Des Moines. Over the last four years, she has met undocumented high schoolers to motivate and guide them as they navigate the higher education system. Her fight for civil rights include fighting for low income families to have access financial institutions, access to higher education, and standing with street vendors as they fought for their rights at the city level. Kenia has lobbied for different causes that affect the most vulnerable in our city. She lobbied for credit unions to not be regulated like banks because these financial institutions have efforts around serving the unbanked

On August 2009, Phillip Garrido visited the UC Berkeley campus with Jaycee and her two daughters and his suspicious behavior was noticed the special event manager. He then conducted another background check which disclosed that Garrido was on parole for kidnapping and rape and was a registered sex offender. Garrido insisted that Jaycee who he called “Allissa” and her two daughters were relatives. Eventually he confessed his crimes and both him and his wife were charged with 29 felony counts, including rape and false imprisonment and were sentenced to 431 years for Garrido and 36 years to life for his wife (Siegel, pg.55).

With great pleasure, I write this recommendation letter for Melissa Gonzalez, whom I met back in the fall of 2015, when she joined Miami Dade College - Kendall Campus as a Video Production Technician for the Media Services Department. In this assignment, I will review the funding proposal of Alicia Saathoff. I am the Committee Chairperson for the Budget and Finance Committee for the City Council in Columbus Nebraska. Alicia’s funding proposal focuses on a non-profit unarmed patrol service named Community Strong. Community Strong’s mission is to provide quality, responsible, and nonbiased protection service to all Columbus residents by reducing crime and building positive relationships throughout the community. I will decide if Community Strong will help the city of Columbus as well as provide capital funding to Alicia’s proposal.

On February 22, 2016, I was assigned this case for follow up. I was assigned a second case on February 24, 2016. The person involved in both investigations is Ms. Kassidy Pullara a fourteen year old T.C. Williams High School student. I contacted Doris L. Stanley (Guardian) and was granted access at school to interview Kassidy Pullara in school.

The agencies employed by governments to police the web in order to protect the vulnerable have seen an increase in child pornography and online fraud. The speed at which information can be distributed and the number of people that can be reached attracts those that are intent on causing harm. The term “cybercrime” is becoming more widely used. The financial gains that can be made and the anonymity the internet can provide, make the virtual world of cyberspace a haven for criminals. Although the internet has huge benefits for information gathering and social networking, in the wrong hands it can cause harm to the vulnerable and criminals are able to vanish into the underground with the use of false identities that are hard to track online.
