It amused her to heart that he was a serious child, honestly, she couldn't get past the fact that most humans didn't have a great childhood. How could they under such circumstances. Even Freya was able to have a fairly decent childhood until she let her ego take over and could easily remember a time when life was damn near perfect for humans. [b]" Good to see you didn't grow out of that seriousness."[/b ], she teased unable to picture the blond with anything but a scowl really.

Katniss Everdeen, the main character is seen in an incessant state of anguish, worrying about her beloved younger sister Prim, without the slightest concern for her own welfare, an idiosyncrasy that robustly contradicts with the typical perfect and flawless main character portrayed in almost all action/adventure films. The controversial scene then ends with the fearless Katniss Everdeen taking her sister’s place and volunteering for her in the Hunger Games after she had been conscripted. There are even ceaseless ties made between District 12 and World War II concentration camps ranging from the rag like clothing to the groups of hopeless children with guns aimed at their face, further deliberating Katniss’s initial mother like and selfish instincts when preferring to worry about her sister in an environment that can be related to a significant historical atrocity. As a set-up for the rest of the film, this sequence plays an important role in constructing the underlying theme of the film as a whole. The fact that Katniss finds her own empathy, sense of caring and compassion and her journey of going from a un-trusting and instinctive girl to a strong moraled, selfless woman that would rather die than take an innocent human life. She and her old Peeta win the game together and break the rules of the Hunger Game. The Capitol leader must be angry as hell. Katniss Everness is a snob sometimes, like when she enjoys the cheering from the phonies in the goddamn Capitol, but I’ll say I kinda like her in the other times. I really do. Not only because of her little sister, Prim Everness who reminded me a little bit of old Phoebe. I guess old Prim is also quite skinny but not Roller-skate skinny as Phoebe is. If I’m in her place, oh, I don’t really care. And that old Peeta, a real moron. How funny that he doesn’t even dare to confess his love until he knows he’s stepping to death. There’s nothing to worry, Katniss is not
