Kevin Smith
Kevin Smith is a prime example of the kind of person in my industry that I aspire to be like. His humor is intelligent, but he walks the fine line between funny and outright offensive. I admire him for his ability to tell a story using people, instead of effects and a huge budget.
Kevin's first movie, Clerks, had a budget of around $27,000 (Kevin Smith). The entire film was black and white, and the only effect that had on the movie was to further highlight how obscenely drab these QuikStop clerks' daily lives were. Despite the tiny budget, Kevin showed off his sense of humor and told an involving story using barely anything but the

One reason this movie did as well as it did is perhaps, Smith said, because they actually tried to reach a larger variety of people with Mallrats. Even though they had a hard R rating and could have cursed up a proverbial storm, Kevin cut down on much of the unnecessary vulgar language.(Kevin Smith) By doing this he made the film more acceptable to a general audience. Another step taking in that direction was Jay's reduced number of drug related tag lines. This is not to say, however, that Smith dumbed down the movie for the general public, as "Trish the Dish" a 15yr old highschool senior and author of "Bore-gasm, A study of the 90's male sexual prowess", will tell you. (Renee Humphrey) Although the movie did only fair in the theatres, Kevin had his customary cult following (Renee Humphrey)
Chasing Amy was the movie that really got Kevin accepted by a wider audience. Up until this point he had made farcical comedies with crude language, drug related humor, and lots of innuendo. Chasing Amy brought Kevin to a more mainstream audience, and also served to dispel the complaint about how he wrote women into his scripts. Though women in his movies never complained about it, "No. Male, female, Kevin's just being funny. That's how I always saw it." (Renee Humphrey)

It seems you either love him or hate him - but there's no avoiding him. Adam Sandler has risen to the top, and he has his loyal fans to thank for it. While most actors fight their way to the top while relying mainly on hype, for Sandler this was actually against him. No one thought he would succeed, but the fans made it happen, carrying him to the top of the box office.

There may be no bigger name in rap music right now than Chicago's own Chance the Rapper. His third mixtape Coloring Book is now available on all major music streaming platforms (Apple Music, Soundcloud, Spotify, Tidal, etc.) and he is also the first artist EVER to break The Billboard Top 10 Albums chart with streams only. He has burst onto the scene as a "lone wolf" of sorts; refusing to sign to a record label, releasing all of his music for free, and combining rap, jazz, and gospel music more beautifully than anyone we've ever seen in the music industry. To celebrate Lil Chano's recent success let's check out his ten best songs.
Adam Sandler has been considered the worst actor to date too many. And to put it kindly his films aren’t well received by critics, at all. For the sake of continuity, I will be using critics reviews from three main sources, IMDB (A website for critic reviews), Rotten Tomatoes (average movie goers reviews) and Metacritic (A combination of both). While None of his films have passed the 7.0 mark on IMDB. The films rank from a chuckle worth picture (6.0-6.4) to a joyless watch (6.0-5.5) and conclude at a car wreck of a motion picture (5.5-3.2).
Dissolved oxygen is oxygen that is trapped in a fluid, such as water. Since many living organism requires oxygen to survive, it is a necessary component of water systems such as streams, lakes and rivers in order to support aquatic life. Some may say he is intelligent, while others may say he is courageous. Big words are just insufficient to describe this actor/director/screen-writer/producer.
