Everyone cares about their dogs, and some people care so much that they treat their dogs like family. At most vets or animal clinics there are small and large dogs, because of the size differences the small and large dogs the grooming techniques differ. But lets hold on for a second. Before we even begin to groom the dogs one should get to know the dog better. Getting to know the dog (even if it's for only a few minutes) can help the grooming process go ten times smoother, because it allows not only you to get use to the dog but the dog gets use to you. Now that you two are familiar with one another the real grooming process can begin. When you are going to wash the dog know that there are some key points to remember. Though the dog has familiarized themselves with you, they still may not want a bath. At all cost do not force the dog to be bathed, in the end you are only going to stress out the dog and a stress dog creates an even more frustrated groomer.
