She saw that Annadell was no longer behind the pillar so thought that she must hide somewhere else when everyone was distracted. Aladar and Morikin sat with the Red Father in one of the council rooms. Amiela had been sent to fetch some food while Vohen was told to go check the perimeter for any problems. It seems the Red Sons had taken the entire city

“Thirty-nine beds, twenty-six “patients”, two doctors, five nurses; the administration of New End Hospital implemented cyclical regulation of patients to maximize efficacy, ensuring that the poor would not succumb to the allure of subsisting entirely on hospital funding and subsequently incentivizing them to locate relatively secure employment and housing (such was the function of the archaically termed ‘almshouse’, a concept formulated under the reign of King Aethelstan), reducing the burden on the British taxpayers. A proliferation of “poorhouses” occurred, initially conceived as a solution to the paucity of moral resolve pervasive throughout the lower class, though when surveyed decades after this antecedent surge, it was displayed that
The queens of Neo-Assyria have long had their positions as a part of the administrations of the royal palace neglected or overlooked. For the purpose of this assignment, I want to take a closer look at the roles the queen and her household were responsible for in the function of the palace and, in extension, the Empire. Comparatively, we know a lot more about the kings of the Neo-Assyrian Empire than we do about the queens. Although the sheer amount of tablets and steles are comparatively few in contrast with kings, there is greater significance in the select pieces of evidence of queenship that we do have. With access to such a narrow window into lives of the queens, it makes it all the more essential to try and put together the pieces that

The Hittite empire is divided into three kingdoms: the Old Kingdom, Middle Kingdom, and New Kingdom. During the time of the Old Kingdom (appx 1680-1500 B.C.E.), there was no formal succession plan for the royal line, and this portion of their history is marked by disputes over the crown (Ryan). The Hittites’ first two kings, Labarna I and Hattusili I, were responsible for a large expansion of the empire. Though scholars disagree on whether these were two separate kings or a single king with two names,
B.B. King’s reign as “King of the Blues” has been as long as that of any monarch on earth. B.B. King continued to have his crown at the age of 76, and he was still light on his feet, singing and playing the blues with never ending passion. Time has no effect on B.B, all time does for him is make him more popular, more cherished, and more relevant than ever. Even though B.B. King has passed, he’s alive as the music he plays, and the world can’t get enough of him.
