“I wish nothing than good, therefore everyone who does not agree with me is a traitor and a scoundrel.” That was a quote from King George III. He was the king of England during the Revolutionary war. He was the son of King George the II and Princess Augusta. King George III was born on June 4th 1738. He was appointed to the throne in 1760 at age of 22. He was married to Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz during 1761. He worked to end what we call the seven year war. Then When the Americans said they were free king george was in dept. He tried to tax them so they rebelled. He could not afford another war, but he could not afford to lose the Americas. British lost the war and the Americas too and his debt was huge. King George
