A story’s conflict can influence so many parts of a story, as well as the storyline. The protagonist should be able to grow as a character and learn a lesson by the end of a story thanks to the plot. In the story, “King Midas and the Donkey Ears” the main conflict begins when King Midas judges a musical contest between Pan and Apollo.
