Timelines
March 15th, 1915 - Mr. Thomas Leishman purchased 5 breweries to form United
Breweries Ltd. with its registered office at 17 Armenian Street, Chennai -1.
1940's
• 1944 - First Bottled Beer under the label "Exports Beer".
• 1948 - Mr. Vittal Mallya became the first Chairman.
1950's
• Registered office moved to Bangalore.
