Kyle is a unique individual when it comes to his father they are almost identical. Todd, Kyle’s father, loves the Islanders and has a sense of “dad humor”. His jokes are funny for their stupidity and you laugh from the awkwardness of it. With Kyle, it is the same way. Kyle always says to his father, “I am just a younger and smaller version of you”. Todd always replies something along the lines of, “that’s right! You’ll be bald like me too!” When it comes to Kyle’s mother, Wendy, they both have a sensitive side and are always ready to make someone feel better. Todd is the doctor (which he actually is) and Wendy is the nurse of the household. Kyle inherited that “nurse” side to him. Taylor, Kyle’s sister, follows Taylor Swift religiously, Kyle has always been accustomed to hearing Taylor Swift music blasted through the walls. It is no surprise that Kyle became an avid Swifty as well. …show more content…
Kyle watches hockey the most out of the other hobbies, he wants to become an NHL General Manager one day. Kyle has taken many online courses through Sports Management Worldwide about hockey scouting, hockey analytics, and being a sports agent. Kyle will not rest until his dream is accomplished, hockey is his life. Kyle’s team the New York Islanders, causes him stress because of their streaky play. He even has a designated pillow to hit (a Rangers pillow) whenever something bad happens. The pillow was given to him as a joke by a Ranger fan, it then became a way for Kyle to give off his anger by punching something positive. A Rangers logo. Kyle’s hobbies are very
Through thick and thin bestfriends are always there for eachother. In the novel The Contender Alfred Brooks struggles to become a contender and reunite with his best friend James. Alfred is a high school dropout and has a job at a grocery store that’s going nowhere. James, his best friend is also a high school dropout but he is messing with the wrong crew. Throughout the story, Alfred begins to train at Donatelli’s gym to become a boxer. Later in the story James, who has been doing drugs, goes to rob the Epstein's store , where Alfred works, and almost gets caught. At the end of the story Alfred finds James in a cave with a cut arm that was caused by the burglary. James asks Alfred for a fix but Alfred, the contender, takes him to the hospital
Daniel Kloysuntia from Jackson,Miss, has played baseball since he was four years old and is currently a starting pitcher for the Ole Miss Club Baseball Team. He also serves as a umpire for the USSSA league at FNC park in Oxford.
Have you read Wonder or Summer ball? They are both amazing books. In the story Wonder, by R.J. Palacio, Julian is a big bully and in the story Summer ball, by Mike Lupica, Lamar is also a big bully. Both Lamar and Julian are big bullies because they bully the main character, and not only the main character but also other characters. The first reason I think they are both bullies is because they both bully the main character in the book they are in.
When you look at Kenny from The Watsons go to Birmingham you would look at him as nice. He treats others kindly unlike his older brother Byron. Kenny is nice to others, respects his parents, and he cares for Joetta. All in all, Kenny is a caring kid.
Eventually I have learned That Kyle is a kind kid about The competition through Kyles (actions, dialogue, relationships, choices, or problems and this tells me Thru the problems about the character. I have learned that he is a over all friend because in the book he cares about other and not just himself.Kyle inspired me thru this action because I want to help other as well. Some actions that Kyle had to be a good friend was when he had to talk to a kid he really didn’t like.A couple more are when he had to take control of team Kyle during the race he had to compete against Charles and kyle really does not like Charles as a friend. The last time he had to be nice is the part when he got 500 dollars worth games and he shared with his family to be nice.
Many of us readers would agree that after reading Tim O’Brien’s “In the Lake of the Woods” we find John Wade’s behavior more than unusual as he would do some unusual things such as burning plants with boiling water while saying “Kill Jesus”, and have flashbacks. Most readers would wonder how a psychologist would diagnose John Wade. Based on his behavior, John Wade would probably be diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). PTSD is a severe anxiety disorder that can develop after exposure to any life-threatening event which results in psychological trauma. Wade’s diagnoses would affect O’Brien’s implicit argument as anyone that has a perfect or normal life can be ruined by PTSD.
Another character I like is Chris. Although he has no dialogue in this novel, his character is described in intriguing ways. What I like about Chris is he has a very distinct personality, he has his own thoughts and actions that he doesn’t change, which I admire about him. I like how he decided to be his own person and not necessarily follow the ways of society, like have a solid career or do the right thing. Chris set out on his own adventure and didn’t care what others thought of his long journey hitchhiking to the Alaskan woods. “...I admire what he was trying to do. Living completely off the land like that, month after month....” (Krakauer, 185) This quote shows he wasn’t thought of as ‘crazy’ by all and some were interested in his brave
The novel centers on Kyle McAvoy, star athlete, editor of the Yale Law Journal, onetime Eagle Scout who is fielding offers from prestigious law firms that are offering him six figure salaries. The idealistic Kyle plans, however, first to give back to the community by doing legal aid work with migrant workers and then to join a New York firm Scully & Pershing. Kyle is later visited by a man called Bennie Wright who knows about Kyle’s only skeleton in his closet – three years back, when he was senior in college, Kyle and three fraternity brothers had possibly raped a freshman girl, Elaine – who may have passed out during the encounter - in a drunken stupor, which Kyle witnessed but didn’t partake. One of them recorded the episode with his cellphone
Final, Steve the last character plays a big part in this theme because of his life.
Chris Patterson stood in the waiting room and thought about his former friend. He respected Jackson for what he accomplished because he completed the most astounding impromptu rescue mission of his life and the fact he actually managed to pull it off with no casualties except himself and the terrorist with the broken jaw spoke volumes about his character and courage. If this had been a war zone he would write a letter to recommended Jackson for the Medal of Honor for the incredible feat of bravery, courage, ingenuity, tenacity, skill and downright guts he showed in capturing the terrorists and saving the medical staff and he did it while gravely injured and nearly bleeding to death. Colonel Patterson knew the Israeli government would say something

In this scene, Chris Kyle (the main character) was trying to take other opportunities rather than working at the ranch. He liked the idea of fighting which made him want to join the US Forces. When he entered the recruiting station, he noticed many recruits who were staring him down due to the fact that every person was in a competition.
He is 5’10” at 170 pound with a medium build but tone because he goes to the gym daily. His skin is a deep camel with a yellowish hue with craters on his face almost looking like freckles. A big bell pepper shaped nose with a thin but long beard. He dresses really shabby, a common outfit would include a boonie hat, a multi colored striped tank top, basketball shorts and battered tan working boots. He can pass as hippy being a laid back guy. Kendal has a positive and negative influence on others, he is very unsanitary and doesn’t know how to stay out of trouble on the other hand he’s a hard worker.
In the book Catcher and the Rye by J.D. Salinger, Holden is the main character and most people will call him unreliable but honestly if you think about it he’s not being unreliable to us he is being it to other people that he comes in contact with. He has never lied to us he is basically telling us the truth whenever he talks.
“Inside each of us, there is the seed of both good and evil. It’s a constant struggle as to which one will win. And one cannot exist without the other (Burdon).” A simple definition of good is to be morally right. The exact opposite of good is evil, which means, profoundly immoral and malevolent. Courtney Davidson read a book based on good and evil, and how they seeped through dual personalities. She could not comprehend how so much evil could rise to the surface, until the day she saw it rise from her own self. Then there is Dr. Jekyll the actual character from the book Courtney was reading. Jekyll was a well-respected man in his community and he did not want to disgrace his name. So Hyde, his other personality in different form,
