15. What are your thoughts of the importance of understanding the per patient day (PPD)
I do not understand how can someone see people be treated the way patients at Willow brook were treated and no do anything about it. Patients at Willow brook were suffering. Seen their families talk about what they went thru made me very sad. I do not blame the parents for taking their sons/daughter to this facility. They did what they thought was right. They probably never imagined that this was going to happen. They took their children there thinking they were going to get help and get the right treatment. Thankfully some of them were taken from their families just in time, before something worst happen. The students and their parents, they were all victims of the inhumane way they were treated at Willow brook.
Besides for last year's runner up, there is only one team which has a realistic chance to make the postseason from the weak AL Central in 2017. The Indians came as close as possible to winning the World Series last year, and with the Cubs having broken their curse, the Indians’ 69 year drought is now the longest in baseball. They made a “YUGE” acquisition, landing Edwin Encarnacion via free agency, and are getting back Michael Brantley from last year’s injury which cost him all but eleven games. Their lineup is stacked from top to bottom, with Carlos Santana, Jason Kipnis, Francisco Lindor, Encarnacion, Brantley, and Jose Ramirez. Their rotation was awfully depleted last year by injuries, but when it’s healthy it is one of the

Roger came in on April 5, regarding the enforcement of the agreement with McLaughlin & Moran. Roger worked in a bargaining unit position for McLaughlin & Moran for about 16 years and was credited with service for that time in the New England Teamsters Pension. In 2005, he left the bargaining unit and accepted a non-union position. In 2011, he and McLaughlin & Moran executed an agreement whereby he would receive a supplement to his Teamsters Pension in an amount equal to what he would have received if he stayed in the Teamsters. This past week on April 3, he asked Colleen Dickson about this and she said that the agreement is “null and void.” Roger is obviously concerned about this because this could impact his retirement and so he has come to

When doing assessments of younger children, it is a good practice to allow flexibility. In doing so, I will be able to effectively communicate assessment results with parents. Developmental and behavioral tools often lack the sensitivity to screen specifically for autism spectrum disorder. Therefore, follow up screening tools are essential when a developmental screening raises concerns. To address ongoing assessment, I will use a checklist to assess how Zakai progresses with the three (3) objectives I have set for him. Additionally, I will I would observe Zakai and watch how he progresses in the classroom. By observing Zakai, I will also be able to create a portfolio for him that will allow his parents to see his progress as

New Jersey v. T.L.O. is an interesting case that took place in New Jersey around this area. In Piscataway High School, two girls were caught smoking cigarettes in the bathroom. One of them, which is referred to as T.L.O. At the school, smoking in the restrooms was a violation of school rules. They were caught and were escorted to the assistant vice principal. Through a meeting, an unwarranted search of T.L.O.’s purses leads to an incriminating searched and confession. T.L.O, found it unfair that they could search her for other items unrelated. She filed suit against the juvenile court to state that they can’t used that form of evidence to convict her. The juvenile court found Choplick’s search to be constitutional. T.L.O appealed to the New Jersey Supreme court and there they had a different opinion. The
The original business strategy, which is still not fully implemented or thought out, is still intact and being somewhat utilized. Part of getting from where we are now to where we want to go, is to put together a comprehensive business and growth strategy plan that, brings about the most results. The original business strategy resembled that of a small business that had the most growth with the least risk. With little risk also means little or no technology. The company has changed, the competition is more intense and the economy is weakened. A new strategy that aligns with technology is essential in order to be successful. As business and technology have become increasingly intertwined, the strategic alignment of the two has emerged as a major corporate issue. With the emergence of IT from the back room to the forefront of business brings the alignment issue under the spotlight like never before. And as

In the 1990’s Black and Decker had a great position in the market for their products to appeal to the Professional Industrial segment and the Consumer segment but when it came to the Professional Tradesmen segment they were lacking. Their 9% market share vs. Makita’s 50% market share in the tradesmen segment was incomparable. Makita clearly had a better product in the eyes of the Professional Tradesmen. In the Professional Segment most of the people who buy the products are people who need these tools to make a living such as carpenters, electricians, plumbers, roofers, and general remodelers. In the beginning of April ABC, Inc. hired Carl Robins as their new campus recruiter. Carl was new to his position, but that did not stop him from striving to be a great recruiter right from the start. Carl successfully hired 15 new trainees to work for Monica Carrols the Operations Supervisor. Monica checked in with Carl to advise him of all the steps that are necessary to complete before the trainees could start working for the company. Carl felt confident about the situation and assured Monica that everything would be arranged in plenty of time. The goal is to have the trainees working by July; the problem is that Carl has neglected to make the proper arrangements to ensure all tasks will be accomplished. This
