(101 words) Log Entry (1) – Individual Activity 1 Date: 9 October 2014 Time: 5pm-7pm Venue: Gymnasium, Sport Complex The activity that I do for individual is do gym on Thursday, 9 October 2014 in the evening from 5pm to 7pm. The venue that I used to gym is at gymnasium, sport complex. I like to do gym as it can help me control my weight. Besides that, it also can strengthen my heart and allows it to pump more efficiently with less strain. It also lowers my blood pressure, which measures the force on my artery walls each time my heart beats. It may lower my cholesterol and triglyceride levels, allowing blood to flow more smoothly through my arteries. Exercising: Exercising is not only beneficial for the individual engaging in it, but for the whole society. Exercising is scientifically proven to lower disease and improve happiness. When a society is more happy they engage in more positive behavior. A society that is more engaged will more likely advocate for justice and the well being of others.
I believe that running is the best ways to improve a person’s overall health. Running is a great way to stay fit and burn calories while having fun. For me, I have never felt so accomplished then when I am running. I am confident in the way I look and I never have to worry about what I eat because I know I will burn it off in the next workout. I encourage others to be involved in cross country, or a running club because it is great way to get involved and make new friends.
Exercise and physical activity deliver oxygen and nutrients to your tissues and help your cardiovascular system work more efficiently.
Thirdly, physical exercise itself could re-shape our body, make body stronger and looks healthier. It hence can improve individual’s attractiveness and confidence and hence can enable a positive life attitude. Fourthly, since the physical exercise normally would enable individual to interact with others, socialising with participants and friends in a such low-stress way might meet human’s belonging needs. It therefore could make people have a good mood and recharge themselves to fight against stress (Elizabeth, 2011).

One of the reasons that I run is because it brings physical and emotional benefits to my life. Even though running could be boring, lonely, it could hurt your feet like crazy and above all there are not immediate results for losing weight, I love it. Running makes my life complete, when I don´t run my days are longer and I get tired very fast. My days start very early in the morning when is very dark and I go to the gym to warm up. As the sun comes out, I go to the park where there is a beautiful lake that could go as far as to Kendall Drive from the Tamiami Airport. Introduction: Exercise is a physical activity or particular movement that is used in order to become healthier and stronger. (1) Exercise, in all of its forms, has various effects on the different systems in the human body. One of the main benefits is cardiovascular health, including circulation and heart health. Exercise uses a lot of energy, which the cells derive from oxidising glucose. Meaning that the heart has to work harder to pump more blood throughout the body and the heart has to beat faster in order to achieve a high effort. (2) The heart benefits from exercise include being able to pump more blood through the body and continue working at a higher level with less strain. (3)

I exercise through biking, walking, lifting, and playing softball at RASA. I walk or bike probably three times a week, lift twice a week, and play softball two to three times a week, thus causing me to be very active. Many people look at exercise as being something just for people who want to lose weight or to become muscle bound, but there are a great deal of benefits that can be received from exercising regularly. Of course gaining muscle and losing fat are the two most popular reasons that usually attract people to the gym, but they make up a small part of the potential benefits that can be achieved with exercise. There are several ways in which I have benefited in my life from exercising regularly, besides just making me bigger and stronger. It has made me become more organized, helped me make better decisions, and motivated me to take on new challenges in life.
