Results: After the first two days, there were no results as I expected. Once the third day arrived, I checked at about 2:00 p.m. and noticed a slight stem coming from a few of the beans that were placed outside in the sunlight. That made my results clear that bean seeds germinate fastest outside with the sun shining down upon them. The fourth day brought more growth to the ones outside in the sunlight and some growth with a tiny stem for the ones inside (room temperature) with sunlight. Discussion: To my surprise, I was correct in my hypothesis. I figured bean seeds needed sunlight to germinate quickly, so outside in the warm temperature with the sunlight was the obvious choice. I then figured no sunlight would take the longest so I put the outside with no sunlight last. That left me with inside sunlight to be in the middle, and I was correct. If I were to do this experiment again I would test more factors, such as different locations, and wait longer to see more accurate results. Conclusion: I decided to record 4 days of the experiment (for time reasons) and base observations off of the results I viewed during those four days to help me determine what the outcome would be in a week’s time. The results I found were that it took three days to notice the beginning of bean germination when the beans were placed outside in the sunlight, and 4 days to notice a little stem when the beans were placed in room temperature in sunlight. Throughout the four-day
