Throughout the play “Romeo and Juliet” written by William Shakespeare, there are three characters that are to blame for the death for Romeo and Juliet, those being Lady Capulet, Friar Lawrence, Balthasar. Everyone has their different opinions on who is to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. Romeo and Juliet is about two people that fall in love from two different families who are in a feud with each other. Lord Capulet is to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet because when Romeo was at the Capulet part he didn’t let Tybalt do anything to make Romeo leave. Reason two is he is the one that planned for Juliet to get married to Paris without her consent. The third reason is because after Juliet says okay to marrying Paris (going along with the Friar’s plan), Lord Capulet tries moving the wedding day up to Wednesday instead of Thursday.
In the play, Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, Lord Capulet is most to blame for Juliet’s death because he is verbally abusive and fickle. Lord Capulet shows change throughout the play and proves that his actions have consequences.

Second, Tybalt’s anger plays a big role in their deaths. Lastly, the nurse thought she was helping Juliet but did the most damage. Therefore, Romeo and Juliet had help from Lord Capulet, Tybalt, and the nurse in thee suicide.
In “The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet” there are people to blame for Romeo and Juliet’s untimely deaths. Anyone would have chosen these three characters to blame: They are Lady Capulet, Friar Lawrence, and both Romeo and Juliet. Lady Capulet is Juliet’s mother that did not stay with her from birth. Two of the characters take some of the blame while the third character takes all of the blame. The two characters that take some of the blame are Lady Capulet And Lord Capulet. Lady Capulet is married to Lord Capulet and have a daughter named Juliet. The third person that takes most of the blame for their death is not a person at all. It is fate. During tragic times, the question is always: who deserves the blame? In Shakespeare’s classic Romeo and Juliet, their families, sworn enemies, meet and fall hopelessly in love against all odds. They must die to end the ancient feuding of their families. At the end of this tragic story, the question of who to blame for the lovers deaths is asked. While Lady and Lord Capulet and Friar Lawrence are partially responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet, fate is mostly to blame.
The Capulet are responsible for Romeo and Juliet's death. Capulet forced Juliet to marry Paris. In the text act 3 scene 5 lines 182 and 183 Capulet says “I tell thee what get thee to church a Thursday or never after look me in the face”. This shows that Capulet is giving Juliet no choice in this say which made Juliet go to friar Laurence hoping that he will have a plan but that would result in Romeo and Juliet's death.
Still, Juliet refuses to marry Paris. This outrages Lord Capulet who says, “Hang thee, young baggage, disobedient wretch! / I tell thee what: get thee to church o’ Thursday, / Or never after look me in the face” (3.5.166-169). Unlike Lord Capulet’s earlier impressions, he is much more strict here, forcing Juliet to marry Paris or else her father is no longer going to care for
Lord Capulet is to blame in the deaths for the way he treats Juliet and forces her into an unwanted arranged marriage. Juliet's family believes that arranged marriages is the right way to do it. In document D (DBQ
Lord capulet is to blame for Romeo and Juliet's death."Therefore be patient, take no note of him, and put off these frowns, unfitting this occasion." Said Capulet (8).This is showing that Capulet doesn't like Romeo. This helps explain because by capulet not liking Romeo that means Romeo and Juliet can't love each other so it led to their deaths because they were in love and wanted to be together so Juliet ran off to be with Romeo and faked her death. After seeing her "dead" Romeo kill himself."Capulet has been talking with a young count named Paris, and agrees that he would make a proper husband for Capulet’s daughter Juliet. He advises Paris to court Juliet at the feast." Said narrator (5).This is showing how capulet didn't want Romeo as his daughters wife. Capulet is forcing his daughter to marry Paris and she doesn't know yet. He thinks Paris is a better
When Romeo is banished, Lord Capulet tells his daughter that she will marry County Paris. When Juliet says that she is grateful, but refuses, Capulet says “Hang thee young baggage! Disobedient wretch! I tell thee what: get thee to church o’Thursday, or never after look me in the face. Speak not. Reply not. Do not answer me. My fingers itch,-Wife, we scarce thought us blest that God had lent us but this only child, but now I see this one is one to much and that we have a curse in having her. Out on her, hilding!”(Act 3 Scene 5). Then he continues saying, “God’s bread! It makes me mad. Day, night, hour, tide, time, work, play, alone, in company, still my care hath been to have her matched. And having now provided a gentleman of noble parentage, of fair demesnes, youthful, and nobly trained, stuffed, as they say, with honorable parts, proportioned as one’s thought would wish a man-and then to have some wretched puling fool, a whining mammet, in her fortune’s tender, to answer “I’ll not wed,” “I cannot love,” “I am to young,” “I pray you pardon me.”-But, an you will not wed, I’ll pardon you. Graze where you will, you shall not house with me. Look to’t, think on’t, I do not use to jest. Thursday is near. Lay hand on heart, advise. An you be mine, I’ll give you to my friend. An you be not, hang, beg, starve, die in the streets, for, by my soul, I’ll ne’er acknowledge thee, nor what is mine
Romeo and Juliet, a play written by the William Shakespeare made it seem like Romeo and Juliet is a relationship that should have never happened. Both had families that have eternal hate over one another and also both had their minds clouded with just love and took no precautions on what would happen if both got married. This all resulted in someone being responsible for the death of Juliet. The person who is responsible for Juliet’s Death is Juliet because she never went over the plan with her Husband Romeo about how she is making an attempt to “kill herself” so she did not have to marry a man named Paris(IV.i. lines 51-129). Instead, she discussed this with Friar Lawrence, who is Romeo’s mentor. Although Friar Lawrence sent a letter to Romeo,
In William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, Lady Capulet and the Nurse are responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet because Lady Capulet is pragmatic and the Nurse is irresponsible.
First, let’s start with the general storyline. It is fourteenth century Verona, an Italian city. Two families, the Capulet’s and Montague’s, have been feuding for centuries, the reason for this we never actually find out. The two lovers, Romeo and Juliet, after an unfortunate sequence of events which I will explain later, both end up dying, but who is to blame for them dying? That is what I am explaining in this essay.
The play by William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, shows that Romeo and Juliet are too young to be blamed for their tragic and untimely end. This complex love story had no sole person to blame. While Romeo and Juliet were partly responsible despite their young age, there were many other factors that contributed to their deaths. Miscommunication and poor decisions from the Friar, the Nurse’s betrayal on Juliet, and the ongoing family feuding were all factors that ultimately led to the tragedy.
