Lake Natron is situated at the base of Africa’s only active volcano Oldonyo Lengai (Mountain of God). The lake lies in the northeast of Tanzania in between the Ngorongoro Highlands and Serengeti plains.

The following is an account of the Oakwood Primary School trip for Nursery and Reception class to Gulliver’s Land, in Milton Keynes, which took place on 27th June 2013.

The city of Gem Lake, Minnesota shares much of its history with the larger, surrounding cities of White Bear Lake and Little Canada. Originally a wooded land covered with lakes, the area now known today as Gem Lake remained uncolonized until the 1840s. Being in the birding business, one typically is pumped to explore a new park with the anticipation of what avian species may be lurking there. Today’s park survey is not one of those instances; we will instead take a leisurely stroll around the former quarry pit known as Coe Lake, which is located in Berea, Ohio with no expectations other than a relaxing hike.

Lake Tahoe holds a dear place in my heart because it is one of the most often destinations for our family vacations. I lost count of how many times I have been there. For every occasion, it is just the place to go to. It is such a relaxing place, at least for the weekend I do not have to worry about anything. Lake Tahoe is a very green place to be in California. California is a very dry state and having forests like Lake Tahoe is something to be proud of. It attracts thousands of visitors each year and has numerous activities to do there.
