I ask desperately that you please hear me out. All I could think of as the Student Conduct Committee, wrote my letter of failure,. Yes, letter of failure not acceptance. In reality, I am projected to be a statistic that could never graduate from a four-year accredited College or University. Eventually leading the next generation of my family into poverty and a lack of education along with myself. After four years at the University of Florida I had two options, accept the possible sanction of expulsion which will be made official in a couple weeks after you, Jen Day Shaw, the Associate Vice-President & Dean of Students finalizes and stamps it. Or, I could fight for myself being

Your comments regarding Ms. Thomas are so accurate. Because of the description and the crime in which she was charged I immediately become biased and upset. The media can truly paint a colorful picture, by words and photographs that can pursue a society to like or dislike the subject. Ms. Thomas actions were those of abandoning and endangering her 2-year-old son; but, the pictures lead one to believe that she may have mental behavior issues. Once again, thanks Jennifer for the above discussion. Take care,

The Berman sisters essentially used their expertise to garner influence in the media regarding women’s sexual health. Instead of focusing on the actual biological science used to understand women’s health, the Bermans lean towards a more profit-driven approach. On Jennifer Berman’s website, her Rodeo Drive health center is described as “a boutique practice, outside of academia.” It’s made clear that these women have the perspective of someone who is trying to make as much money as possible from women who are suffering with their sexual health and desires. Like many other issues that are attempted to be fixed through medicalization, low sex drive in women has been projected to be ‘cured’ with random gels and pills, rather than fixing the societal

The article I picked, talked about a general overview of the career including the duties, salary, growth outlook, and education path of a radiologist. The author, Tanja Z, gave a very detailed explanation about all the steps and even included some helpful tips. One of the things that I learned from this article are that there is an 18% employment growth by 2022 for radiology. This great news because there will be more jobs available and I will not have to struggle much for a job. Another thing I learned was that there are three types of radiologists which are diagnostic (interpret images), interventional (carry out both treatment and diagnostics), and oncologists (treat cancer). I am wanting to be a radiation oncologist mainly because my dad
Lavinia froze; Her mind drowning in a sea of terror. Her hand, Shaking and trembling, reaches down to the entry table. Pulling out the drawer, she slowly raises out a loaded revolver. Carefully lavinia moves up the stairs, creeping like a thief in the night. She reaches her bedroom door and cautiously turns the handle. The door opens and lavinia slides through the doorway. Putting her back towards the wall, she faces the door with both hands on the trigger. The air becomes stiff and bitter as the walls start to close in. Heavy footsteps approach the door and a voice calls outs “Lavinia”? The gun
Malala exhibits strength throughout chapter 24 of this autobiography. When Malala is finally able to reunite with her family in Birmingham, she finally was able to weep of exhilaration. “ I hadn’t cried even when I had all those injections in my neck or staples removed from my head (Yousafzai 291). Strength was within Malala during these times because when she woke up, she realized she was in a foreign country. She was in great distress because she did not know where she was and did not understand what was going to happen to her family. She displays great strength and courage by not losing control of her composure when many of her questions were left unanswered. It was very interesting how Malala still wanted
