Pop stars and R&B royalty drop heavy cash to be red carpet perfection, and for Mya’s senior prom, her last true moment of stunting as Overbrook’s resident queen of fashion, no small detail could be left to chance. The other female students were bragging about custom made dresses they were getting made for a stack by popular tailors like Rodeo Kids Designer Fabrics on Philadelphia’s legendary fabric row, but Mya Campbell’s standards and taste levels are too high. Only a prom dress fit for a princess will do. Once Mya’s absolutely satisfied LaTanya hands the sails woman her American Express. The dress cost a small fortune, but the fact that LaTanya and her daughter mended their relationship, it was money well spent. LaTonya heads down the New Jersey turnpike back to Philadelphia. LaTonya was playing Anita Baker’s Rapture album loudly, singing off key with every song. Mya lays her head against the window as relentless rain begins pouring, thinking about her lost sisterhood. She had to admit, she hadn’t more alone in her life. She had Black, but his immense presence couldn’t fill the empty void Raven and Takia left. Girls can be mean, petty and vindictive, so when you find a woman who completely understands you, loves you even on your worst behavior; she’s more than a friend. Sister is more

In the “Perfect dress” by Marisa de los Santos, Marisa describes how women view themselves. Women are never satisfied with their appearance, always wanting what they do not already have. Marisa explains the significance of a beautiful dress to a woman on low self-esteem. She taught us that when we learn to see the beauty in what we have, nothing can stop us from feeling untouchable.
Other days, the teens would find their way down to the docks. Listening to the voices of the gang begging to use the town rowboat always filled The Captain’s heart with great amusement. True to his spirited nature, he couldn’t help but tease; first acting gruff with a look of annoyance at the teens' pleadings, then cracking a smile and bellowing an overwhelming, “Yes.” Taking turns rowing around the harbor, hanging around The Captain and chatting to the locals who happened by, had Lelia and her friends wishing the summer could go on forever.
I really enjoyed your post and what you have mentioned has compelled me to respond to you. I agree that the consent seems to be fixed, I may go further to say fake. While reading that phrase, I also thought the possibility of lack of freedom. If someone feels free, why would they write anything about being judged or gathering information for court purpose?

She admits she will not be missed at her job and at nineteen, without the former protection of her older brothers, she is beginning to feel "herself in danger of her father's violence.” This danger she sees is taken away when she meets her suitor, the sailor, Frank who promises her a better life away from these hardships she has faced.
Do you want a play by play, a fucking map or should I just write it down.” After all the craziness of last night I finally snap, I really don’t have time to put up with anything today. “Well I guess you woke up on the wrong side today” rolling my eyes I went to get my back pack for school. “Amari look at me, what’s with the blood all over the sink, are you sick or something.” I really hate my name especially because it always associated with hers, you can’t say one without saying the other Amaya and Amari. “What” I finally answered wishing we didn’t have to share a room or looks, but that’s kind of hard to avoid with us being twins and all. We both have dark skin, hazel eyes we got from our mother, full lips and a wide forehead. I love my sister but I hate looking at her it’s like looking at another image of what I supposed to be; sweet, innocent, smart and whatever else society labeled for women to
The switch from a small place such as Odair County to Baltimore in such a fast pace leaves much room for trouble. The eagerness for Lynnea to: “disappear” (OLP) single outs her loneliness and her maturity levels as she just wants to get out of the slow, pedestrian, Kentucky. Her positioning from the move has her off put as she struggles to rise up to fame amongst the school. Her: “crabwise “, (OLP) walk ambles her secretive and wary motions as the city Baltimore is something much more bigly to her. Unlike the small comfortable Kentucky, it: “stretched black and row-house brown”, (OLP) creating this empowerment over her which soon causes destruction for Lynnea while trying to adjust. She was often scrutinized as: “an ant, foolish enough to believe that if she kept ambling along, the giant foot above wouldn't come smashing down.” (OLP). This pit her at a vulnerable state for the darkness of Baltimore to really succumb her, losing herself until she just gave in and: “Her foot slammed the accelerator [……] wailing somewhere near the front of the car’s grille.”(OLP) Baltimore changed her and made her into a different person, destroying her identity as she creates

First of all, Latisha needs to be able to speak up and advocate for her students by getting a group of colleagues who share the same concerns. The children need to be able to have a safe environment not risking their health. I say risking their health because they can easily hurt due to the chairs and tables needing repair. Who’s to say that the furniture won't break when a child is using it? She also needs to advocate her beliefs so her students can get them the same education as the students'' at Valley View Ranch. The Students need up to date books so they can challenge their brains. If the students are getting fed with old information rather than up to date data they will fall behind in their education. Latisha and her colleagues also
Lagkagehusets products are quality focused and relatively expensive, they rely strongly on customer satisfaction and they have created more unique products. They have been on the market for quite some time and can thereby not be seen as a question mark. I would argue that their products - bread, cakes etc. – are qualified as Cash cows in the Boston Matrix. Its relatively old products, since they have been on the market for some time, Lagkagehuset has a high market share and great profits, and furthermore they have experienced high growth but are standing more steady now.

I see my middle school friend with her best outfit — a beautiful white dress with formal, shiny black shoes. She seems like she is about to have a beautiful dance or music performance, aspiring to become the paragon of beauty. The audiences are me, her relatives, parents, and her previous friends in middle school. Smiling with her flamboyant outfit, the room was illuminating, as the light could be seen from the outside of the building. She was enjoying being the main performer of the stage.
“Get up and get dressed. We have a big day coming up. We need to go to the town square to submit your headshot today. Tonight on the report, Gavril Fadaye will announce the 35 girls who will be participating in the Selection,” my Mom called from her bedroom. All my dresses were plain, simple,
