In this scenario Toro sells “Ride-Along” mowers that cost $500 each at wholesale. Johnson Hardware Co. called Toro to place an order over the phone for “100 Ride-Along mowers” which were to be delivered a week after the telephone order was placed. A week lapsed and when there was no delivery of the 100 “Ride-Along” mowers; Johnson Hardware Co. calls Toro only to find out that Toro says they do not have a contract to deliver 100 mowers.

On 07/26/2017 I, Deputy Daniel Pruitt was dispatched to 9635 West 71st Street for a larceny complaint. I spoke to Stephen Case who made the following statement.

On 08/07/2016 I, Deputy Daniel Pruitt was dispatched to 4975 Rocky Point Road for a curglary compalint.

On 04-11-2017 at approximately 1500hrs, I conducted an investigation on a stolen bike that was taken from Holmes Foods (101 S. Liberty Avenue). I made contact with the owner, who was identified as Ricardo Perez (TX-ID # 18515108). Perez informed me that his bicycle had been taken from his place of employment without his permission. Perez advised he chained the front tire to the frame to prevent anyone from riding off with the bicycle, but failed to secure the bicycle to the bike rack. Perez advised upon leaving his place of employment, he noticed his bicycle missing from where he parked it. “Officer Groome attempted to stop a 2003 Honda Civic on Oliver Avenue in the city of Chesapeake for stolen license plates. Officer Groome activated his lights and siren for the driver to pull over. The driver of the vehicle did not stop, ran multiple stop signs and red lights, and was driving in excess of 80 mph. The driver continued driving through South Norfolk area into the city of Norfolk. The Norfolk police responded to the area with their K9 unit, and the accused was hiding underneath the crawl space of a house. The accused was found in possession of a dime bag of marijuana and the vehicle, property belonging to Paul Brady, which had been reported stolen on 09/26/2015, in the city of Chesapeake. The accused is not a licensed driver. The accused stated that he received this vehicle from a “friend.”

On 11/28/16, at 1820 hours, I, Officer Humphries #335, was met in the lobby of the Bladensburg Police Department by a citizen who wanted to file a lost property report.
