Integrative approach combines all the approaches to have a holistic picture of the process, outcomes and determinants of leadership. The approach that this paper uses is situational approach that is not leader centered but more on the significance of the context as an influence of leadership. Leaders should be able to choose the leadership quality appropriate to a particular situation.

Based on the literature review, leadership effectiveness criteria can be in concept with three dimensions such as, content, level analysis and target of evaluation. The content of leadership effectiveness can relate to task performance such as individual group performance, affective and relational criteria such as, satisfaction with leader, or overall judgments of effectiveness that task and emotional judgments surround such as, that leaders overall effectiveness. The level of analysis relates to whether leadership effectiveness is in concept at the individual, dyadic, group, or organizational level. An integrated model of leader traits, behaviors and effectiveness are characterized within the model. Demographics such as, gender, age, ethnicity, height, weight, education and social status are characterized. Task competence such as intelligence, conscientiousness, openness to experience, emotional stability etc. are characterized. Another characteristic in the model is interpersonal attributes such as, extraversion, agreeableness, communication skills, emotional intelligence and political skills. Leadership is the ability for one person to successfully and confidently lead a group of others who want to follow them. For me, leadership is about blending together my skills and abilities with my followers so that when we work together, the product we produce is always top notch. Leadership doesn’t have to come from someone who is above me in rank; anyone who is confident and has a similar set of values to mine could lead me.

Leadership does not have one universally accepted definition; it is according me an ever-evolving concept.
