As a Success Coach I focus on birthing personal and/or professional success. This is so extremely rewarding and exciting but challenging. The challenge lies in the fact that every person is a unique and intriguing blend of experiences, genetics and beliefs. This combination drives one's perception of reality, emotions and daily choices. These countless variables make it pretty difficult to neatly apply a packaged model for success. Even though I know that "models" or "systems" do sell well and attract clients, I cannot with a straight face and a pure heart promote a surefire model or system that fits all.

For those are the things that are at the core of your heart. If two people hugging makes you go "awwww," look for an immediate opportunity to hug someone. If a friend is writing each day because the process gives her joy and you think "I wish I could do that," then carve out time to write each day even if it's for five minutes and you don't know what you're going to write about or what you'll do with it. If you have always wanted to ride a horse, start a leadership academy (that's me), dance crazily, start your own business then talk to someone about it, research it, dream about it, but just pursue it in some small or perhaps a really big way. There are countless stories of how persistence has reaped positive results. Anyone with a teen or toddler can attest to that. An attitude like "Failure is not an option" (from Apollo 13 movie) reflects the determination and the authenticity of a desire. Persistent intention and action will then be satisfying and even enjoyable. Read Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell for stories about how persistence (and practice) affects success. By practicing patience you will allow all that you have been persistently doing to catch up to you and manifest in the physical world.

My philosophy of success is simply being content with your life. To me personality, I still do not know what contentment is to me and that's fine. I can guess it is being independent, with a job I am passionate about and surrounded by people that truly care about me. Success is finding that point in life that, if things stayed like how they are at this moment then it would be alright. I'm not saying to stop improving yourself or that after that point nothing bad or better will happen. People should always try to improve themselves and in reality, bad things will always happen at one point. Therefor my philosophy is to work towards that feeling of contentment. It
Nurses serve as an advocate for the advancement of the profession of nursing, whether the novice nurse or the advanced practice nurse. Sommerfeldt (2013) found that novice nurses when asked to describe nursing, responded with “care for clients” to be a common answer. This vague answer excludes the professional contribution of nurses and the roles advance practice nurses performs in team health care. The focus of this paper will address the barriers for autonomous advanced nursing practice and the use of interactive leadership style to advocate for legislative changes and promote the entry level degree Consensus Model (2010) for advanced practice nurses.
The book Barking up the Wrong Tree by Eric Barker is about the surprising science behind why everything you know about success is mostly wrong (2017). According to Barker, “sucess for you is, well up to you. Its about what you personally need to be happy at work and at home (p.298).” This book focused on a different kind of aspect of what a person thinks sucess is. It talks about how success is not about being perfect and always doing the right thing. Instead, the book shows individuals the aspect of success that works and that doesn't. It also helps an individual on what is the best way to go when we are doubting yourself for sucess. It is mainly knowing what you're good at, your strengths, and the task. I believe that persistence wins out because if you never give up on something then you will be successful in life.This goes back to the start of football and on the schedule it said in big black letters “BEARS TOUGHNESS TEST” and man let me tell you it was so scary just by how it looked. I thought in my mind i'm not going to pass the test. So the times come to go to the high school and I pull up to the school with my heart pumping out of my chest and i'm sweating already. I’m getting out of the car I walked into the gym and sat down.
However, being stubborn and persistent at the same time is not always the best situation to be in. To relax myself, I took a walk and a nap rather than continuously stressing myself out. After some period of time, I went back to skateboarding and attempting to land the trick I learned. I was not successful in the beginning, but I was definitely more focused and relaxed, allowing me to eventually land the trick after a short period of time. During these two experiments, I was able to come to the realization that there is a time to “do” and a time to “be”. By doing something you will most commonly make progress, however you will not always get where you want. Being persistent with a sense of motivation will get you places. From personal experience, I always assumed that if you do something, you will get somewhere and what you want. However, by not doing anything or taking a step back in a time of need, it helped me achieve what I want. The way that I look at the two, both are equally as important and useful in their own situations and time of need. We all were divided into groups and given secret paper identifying our role during the task, these paper were to be kept as secret and our role in the task was to not to be revealed to other team members.
