3. LEADERSHIP THEORIES
A leadership style is a manner and attitude of a leader in which he or she provides direction, fulfills plans and motivates people. Lots of authors have brought many various leadership styles shown by leaders within the political, business or other spheres.
Leaders generating the best results use a wide range of leadership styles. “Imagine the styles, then, as the array of clubs in a golf pro’s bag,” says Goleman. “Over the course of a game, the pro picks and chooses clubs based on the demands of the shot. Sometimes he has to ponder his selection, but usually, it is automatic. The pro senses the challenge ahead, swiftly pulls out the right tool, and elegantly puts it to work. That’s how high-impact leaders operate, too.”

MAX WEBER'S THEORY
In his theory, Max Weber wrote about three types of leaders: bureaucratic, charismatic, and traditional. Weber was one among the first theorists to recognize that leadership itself was situational in nature and that effective individuals needed to move dynamically from one leadership style type to another one to stay prosperous.
Max Weber also believed that there were two basic paradigms within which leaders worked: transactions and transformations. Weber believed that transactional leaders were those who worked over the existing systems or environment to gain results. For example, he theorized that the bureaucrat is a transactional leader effective in using their knowledge or legal authority to achieve a goal.
Charismatic leaders were transformational in Max Weber's model. These individuals were almost heavenly in nature and were often compared to heroes. A transformational leader was not afraid to approach things from an entirely different viewpoint and in Weber's theory used personal charisma to help them achieve their aims.
