10. Leave for holidays and other reasons 10.1. In this paragraph we refer to holidays, meaning any absence from work for any reason other than your own sickness or injury. 10.2. Your annual holiday entitlement is the equivalent of (worked hours / 3) paid holiday during each holiday year, inclusive of all bank holiday entitlements. This is calculated on a pro-rata basis depending on the number of hours you work. You will be paid your normal hourly rate during such holidays rounding up the entitlement to the nearest pound. If you are entitled to 32 holiday hours then you can take 7 days leave and if you are entitled to 35 holiday hours then you can take 7 days leave as well, as the holiday hours are rounded up in holiday days which are blocks of five hours each (our work day has, normally, five hours excluding an unpaid lunch hour that is additional). But in the case of contract termination if you are eligible for payment in lieu of unused holiday entitlement, if your entitlement is of 32 holiday hours then you are paid for 32 hours at your normal work rate rounded up at the nearest pound, and similarly if your entitlement is, for example, 35. 10.3. The Company 's holiday year runs from 1st March to end of February. Your entitlement to leave days is calculated on an annual basis. You may not take paid leave for a period greater than your accumulated entitlement calculated by reference to the hours you have worked since the start of your employment or the beginning of the last
