LeBron James is a person that plays in the National Basketball Association and is a spokesperson for Nike. He won the world championship last year and he earned the finals MVP. According to espn.com LeBron is one of the most accomplished basketball players ever and he is 8th on the NBA all-time scoring list. LeBron Raymone James is a good person and my hero.

First and foremost, LeBron James is a hardworking man, who has a very demanding job. Despite these demands and pressure, LeBron James is one of the youngest players to reach many National Basketball Association (NBA) benchmarks, such as scoring 10,000 career points and winning Rookie of the Year award for the 2003-2004 basketball season (Augustyn). He is the greatest player, because he is the first player to get 27,000 points, 7,000 assists, and 7000 rebounds, he has won four MVP awards, he has made 6 straight NBA finals appearances.

LeBron James is my role model, he is a great basketball player, and he is also a great person. LeBron was drafted into the NBA in 2003, straight out of a high school named St. Vincent St. Mary. His rookie year he averaged 20.9 points a game, that’s more than most players in their entire NBA career and that’s pretty good. LeBron is a great player, person, and teammate. He is one of the best in my book.

When his grandma past away it started to get difficult for them. They had to go to house to house almost everyday. His AAU coach looked after him and took him under his wing until his mom got her stuff together. The high school he went to was called St. Vincent - St. Mary High School in his hometown of Akron,Ohio were he was highly promoted in the National Media as a future NBA superstar. After he graduated he went into the NBA draft and he was selected by his hometown team Cleveland Cavaliers, as the 1st overall pick in the 2003 NBA draft. He acquired three NBA championships in 2012, 2013, and 2016, four NBA Most Valuable Player Awards in 2009, 2010, 2012, and 2013, three NBA Finals MVP Awards in 2012, 2013, and 2016, two Olympic gold medals in 2008 and 2012, one NBA scoring title in 2008, and one NBA Rookie of the Year Award in 2004. LeBron was accepted into twelve NBA All-Star teams, twelve All-NBA teams, six All-Defensive teams, and continues to be the Cavaliers' all-time leading scorer. During his time with the Heat, he led the team to four NBA finals (winning two of the championships.) Those are players out there because they have dedicated their lives to being a professional athlete. To get to where they are you have to train and be determined enough to get out there and make it look easy, and make money. Lebron James is one of the greatest basketball players to play. He was born on December 30, 1984 in Akron, Ohio. His mom was a teen who was struggling to give her son a good life. She thought it would be good for Lebron to allow him to live with Frank Walker who introduced him to basketball. He was so amazing that he was asked to play basketball at St.Vincent and St.Mary High School. During his first year of playing he would score about 21 points a game. When Lebron was a sophomore he was asked to play for the USA Today All-USA First Team. He was the only sophomore ever chosen for something like this. That year, he received the Rookie of the Year award and scored shy of 21 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 5.9 assists every game. James also got elected for NBA All-Star game in the 2004-2005 season. Making 13 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, and helping win the Eastern conference LeBron was living up to what the everyone was predicting. Again LeBron was chosen for the NBA all-star game and contributed in the East Conference win, and received the NA All-Star MVP. Following the 2006 playoffs, the Cavaliers made a $60 million 3 year contract with an option to join the team for a 4th year. Accepting the offer, James averages started slowly dropping in the 2006-7 season, but made its way back up in the next 2007-08 season. During the 2009-10 season game 5 he had scored only 15 points and he was greeted with boos as he walked off the court. His contract with the Cavaliers was coming to an end, and James had to figure out what his next move was. Prior to the 2010 season, James made himself a free agent. Soon after many teams wanted him including the Los Angeles Clippers, Miami Heat, New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets, Chicago Bulls, and his previous team Cleveland Cavaliers. While he was waiting to make his decision fellow players Chris Bosh signed with Miami and Dwyane Wade extended his contract with the Heat. Therefore, pushing James towards joining the team, which he did with a six year contract of $110 million matching newcomer Chris Bosh. After 4 years with the Heat “The Big Three” managed to led the team in winning 2 NBA championships for the 2011-12 season and 2012-13 season.
