LeBron James was born on December 30, 1984 in Akron, Ohio, He is 31 years old. James went to high school at St. Vincent-St. Marry. His parents are Gloria Marie James and his dad is Anthony McClelland. When James was a sophomore in high school scouts for the NBA were already looking at him to play in the NBA.

The Cavaliers, a basketball team, plagued with injuries and losing two big superstar players. The injuries damaged the Cavaliers like broken bones. His mother could never keep a job so they bounced from apartment to apartment. Despite his mothers struggles she worked hard to shield Lebron from poverty, violence and the streets.      When looking at Jordan and James’ fame, they are both equally popular, but it is how they handle the fame that sets them apart. Jordan is a class act, meaning he carries himself with honorable pride, not vanity. After Jordan signed with Nike his game only got better. He never felt as if he was too good for improvement and showed everyone great respect. James differs after he signed with Nike, his game flat-lined. He never showed any kind of improvement in his game, and his team never got any better. It seemed like he only tried when he had the ball, especially when his team was getting blown out.

Never ignore facts cause you like or dislike a player, best thing to do is take the information and use it in the future because it will be needed. Always give valuable points about individual players. Sometimes stats is not always number. Mentally players could be better than one with better stats because the player could play best when it matters most. Kobe Bryant,former basketball player for Los Angeles Lakers, is another great player that gets compared to James. He average 25.0 points per game, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.7 assists for a career. Stats show James is a better player but Kobe always showed up when it matters most.Kobe has won 5 NBA playoffs out of 7. Lebron has won 3 NBA playoffs out of 5.

When LeBron James was born, nobody would have guessed that he would have been the one to go all the way to the NBA and perform like he does. He has amazing talent and he knows how to use it. And what's so amazing about how he went all the way to the NBA, is he was living in a state of poverty with trouble all around him and still managed to make it tontine big times.Even though the odds of how he lived were against him, LeBron James managed to put his talent first and become one of the best basketball players in the world.
