LeBron James calls himself King James because he has won 4 MVP’s throughout his NBA career, and he is very dedicated and a very great leader to all of his games as well as his teammates. As I observed the 2015 Finals, LeBron James played the hardest out of each player on his team as well as the opposing team. James did not have a lot of help going against a strong team like the Warriors because two of the starting players from the Cavaliers got injured and had to sit out for the rest of the season. Kevin Love got injured way before the finals took place, and Kyrie Irving got injured during game one against the Warriors. Rodger Sherman, website sport journalist stated that, “James' average line in these NBA Finals is 36.6 points, 12.4 rebounds, and 8.4 assists per game. Only Michael Jordan, Shaquille O'Neal and James Worthy have managed to do that in a single NBA Finals game since 1986” (web). Rodger

Michael Jordan is considered to be the most iconic person in sports history. Since 2002, Lebron James has been compared not only to be the next Michael Jordan but also having the potential of being a better basketball player than him. Some basketball fans might agree and some might disagree, but at the end of the day everyone will have their own opinion of who is better than whom. Lebron James and Michael Jordan do have many things in common even though they play different positions in the national basketball association. When looking at Jordan and James’ fame, they are both equally popular, but it is how they handle the fame that sets them apart. Jordan is a class act, meaning he carries himself with honorable pride, not vanity. After Jordan signed with Nike his game only got better. He never felt as if he was too good for improvement and showed everyone great respect. James differs after he signed with Nike, his game flat-lined. He never showed any kind of improvement in his game, and his team never got any better. It seemed like he only tried when he had the ball, especially when his team was getting blown out.
Never ignore facts cause you like or dislike a player, best thing to do is take the information and use it in the future because it will be needed. Always give valuable points about individual players. Sometimes stats is not always number. Mentally players could be better than one with better stats because the player could play best when it matters most. Kobe Bryant, former basketball player for Los Angeles Lakers, is another great player that gets compared to James. He average 25.0 points per game, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.7 assists for a career. Stats show James is a better player but Kobe always showed up when it matters most.Kobe has won 5 NBA playoffs out of 7. Lebron has won 3 NBA playoffs out of 5.
