In the modern day business, many organizations have place emphasis on their financial outcome, however, this has been the main focus over values that are important to companies such as legal and ethical concerns as well as social responsibility that they have to the world. However, within the Center of Higher Development Inc. their main focus is children and education. In addition, the Center of Higher Development is a nonprofit organization that is funded by the government. With the Center, the issue to market to children really brings about focus on the responsibility to educate children

However, there are ethical issues that occur in marketing and advertising, although, the legal approach may not solve all of the problems. It is wise for companies to be responsible and take a look at legal and ethical behaviors based on if it is in the best interest of the child. In addition, it is important for these organizations to determine if it is mandatory to operate in a free market and function efficiently and effectively. We know that ethics are the moral guiding principles that lead to good behaviors, within organizations. With that being said, ethics portrays two very important roles, one, it expresses the ethical standards of society and two, it is legal. Therefore, it is imperative to enforce and focus on how organizations such as The Center of Higher Development Inc. support the rights of children that they interact with daily. One thing, that I enjoy about the Center, they work with the Healthy Food Truck Initiative, who brings fresh food out to the Center and explains and show children how to eat healthy, Healthy Kids, mobile truck that provides free physical examines for low income children; The Dental Association of Illinois, mobile dentist who provides free dental screenings for low income

Analyze three of the punishments that corporations undergo when they have acted unethically (i.e., name them, define them, explain what they are). In addition, explain three threats to running an ethical corporation. Finally, from your own perspective, explain whether or not a corporation should have to function by the same codes of morality that individual people in society have to abide by or if they should be allowed to get away with certain actions that people in society cannot get away with.
Using at least two (2) of the foundational ethical theories studied in Module 2, you should answer the following questions. With each answer, you should discuss the issues and set forth and defend a clear position on whether or not any constraint ought to be placed on the freedom of a business to:
This summer I worked in New York City at Harlem Children’s Zone (HCZ), which is a non-profit organization for poverty-stricken children and families in Harlem, providing free support in the forms of parenting workshops, a pre-school program, three public charter schools, child-oriented health programs that serve approximately 13,705 children and 13,784 adults. The Harlem Children’s Zone Project has expanded the HCZ’s comprehensive system of programs to nearly 100 blocks of Central Harlem and aims to keep children on track throughout college and into the job market. The organization is made-up of about twenty two programs in total that ensure there are no gaps in-between one phase to the next. For instance if a student needs to take a year off before attending college, HCZ has created programs that will stick with the student during this time frame, in other words providing these students with a strong support group so they are held accountable to attend college in the future. The HCZ is “aimed at doing nothing less than breaking the cycle of generational poverty for the thousands of children and
Helping Hand will team up with the YES Foundation of White Center because they already have a relationship with the community. We will provide children under the age of 9 with teachers to help them learn. This day care will specifically benefit toddlers because it will challenge their thinking and prepare them for the next academic school year. The risk for poverty is greater in children than in any other age group. If we provide resources for parents to receive adequate child care while they are at work more children will receive a strong foundation to be successful in the future. Even if a family passes the poverty line and reaches middle class they will be allowed to keep their free childcare for another year. This will be a support individuals escaping poverty will have.
2) What does it mean for an organization to be ethical in its communication and practices?
The problem to be investigated is the application of business ethics. In the business world, ethics are extremely important. Ethics are prime elements that help a business to grow and to become more productive. It is by applying proper business ethics that a business can operate in a moral or ethical business environment and managed to conduct all activities in a manner that maximizes profits while not compromising all other non-economic concerns(Schwab, 1996). Businesses have over the years failed to nurture business ethics in order to fulfill shareholders' interests and to have a culture that is oriented towards profit maximization and high performance(Jennings, 2012; Sims & Felton, 2006). This has led business to have gray areas in their activities. Gray areas are those situations or problems that do not fit exactly into any ethical analysis. These are the activities which may be represented to be immoral as a result of lying and false representations on the part of the business.
Consider an organization you were/are currently involved with. After providing a short overview of your organization, reflect on the Seven Levels of an Ethical Organization, found in the Gebler article and slide deck, and write a paper answering the following questions (not more than three pages - format of your choosing):
The overview of these three programs and attaining them is optimal, essentially a cycle of opportunity. By providing these services it develops a base for a long-term goal of achieving self-sufficiency and out of poverty. However, the accessibility of these beneficial resources may be difficult to obtain based on eligibility. New ideas that may help improve or reduce disparities in future programs can begin by concentrating on and expanding educational resources. For instance, a program that holds educational sessions on a monthly base, targeting communities, informing families of available resources and assisting with the application process. Another idea would be collaborating with the school system, specifically low-income based communities. After school program can be initiated to target parents that need assistance with extra resources and services. Lastly, innovating a classroom setting program for the duration of one-year, furthering educational and leadership ability for
This will be an over view of ethics as it relates to business in our society. Concepts from Philosophy will seek to describe the correlation between actions that are classified as morally right or ethical in our dealings with each other as human beings. Clear and concise examples will be given as well as ways in which to improve upon business ethics.

Business ethics and values are closely related, their effect and application in business activities correlate and they make one to ask very important questions that may or may not guide an individual in an organisation to make an ethical decision.
Marketing ethics are the moral values that direct marketing choices and activities. These ethics try to encourage honesty, fairness and accountability in all marketing advertisements. However, marketing ethics is an especially tough issue because everyone has a different view on what is considered right or wrong. There are certain ways a company can promote their products that come across as unethical. Some of these unethical ways include: using misleading information and deception, using puffery to hype up their products, using sexual content to gain consumer’s attention, and advertising to children. For organizations hoping to enhance the image of their brand and continue to grow with clients, this sort of deceptive conduct can rapidly prompt disappointment.
