In the article, “ The Teaching Class,” by Rachel Reiderer it states the world of being an adjunct. Rachel discussed the two differences between being on a tenure track and being on an adjunct track. She addressed the issue of faculty working conditions are the students learning conditions. She stated that being payed for the hours there make a teacher lazy and not want to teach. Rachel discussed that being an adjunct professor their is no job security and the pay is hard because it feels like your living from paycheck to paycheck.
