Good morning, my peers. It is my honor to stand here and induct a wonderful person into the Hall of Fame, Harriet Tubman. Imagine you have just escaped a burning building. You were in it for hours, struggling to live. Once you got out, you were free. However, you weren’t the only person in the building. There were hundreds of strangers inside with you, and only a few managed to escape as well. So, you went back inside the building and escorted other people out. You sacrificed your health, and you were hungry, thirsty, and exhausted. In all, you were able to save the majority of the people in with you. Now imagine that the building was a whole state, and that the hundreds of strangers were actually thousands, and that you were not in there for a few hours but for your whole life.
