The word success means very differently for each and every person. Success can range from just getting up from bed to go make coffee to making money at a job that you like. In the Oxford Dictionary, by definition, success means the accomplishment of an aim or purpose. My story begins when I was in 8th grade at Leyva Middle School. I was in 4th period Algebra 1 alongside many 7th graders and a few 8th graders. In my 7th grade year, I was in the this new program called Bulldog Tech and I had pre-Algebra. In my Algebra class, my teacher, Mr. Nguyen, gave the class a project of creating a presentation of a job that you would like to do in the future. The requirement for the presentation to qualify was to show one way how math is used in your selected job. Mr. Nguyen gave the whole class a week to choose and learn about a job from what you do to the salaries. …show more content…
After a lengthy elimination of over thousands of jobs, I decided I wanted to be an aerospace engineer. When I researched what my job would do, I found aerospace engineering was a whole dimension of information such as the job is actually split into two branches: Aeronautical Engineering (Creating and Designing Aircrafts) and Astronautical Engineering (Creating and Designing Spacecrafts). Prior to this research, I honestly did not know who specifically created and designed aircrafts/spacecrafts and originally thought all “engineers” created them. After collecting my information, I decided to to put all of it onto a presentation program called Prezi. Coincidentally, there was a space theme template which just made my project look even better. At the end of two weeks, we would begin presenting our projects to the class and Mr.Nguyen would be judging and

To me success is accomplishing the goals, doing things the right way, and doing what you love.
Success to me is being able to leave behind something you feel proud of, and being able to gain valuable experience in the process. Whether you are leaving something for the day or leaving something

Like “ nobody couldn’t tell us anything.” That been my mindset for the past 3 years since I’ve been there. I remember there were times I was like” I can’t wait to leave that school.” I honestly didn’t think I would be leaving so early.

When most people at East Langford Highschool hear Francis Davis name they will make a face and this face will stay inside of your head. Francis had the worst reputation around school. Nobody could say anything to Francis without their feelings getting hurt from her sharp remarks. As Francis walks out the front door of East Langford High School, she has her two sidekicks by her side- Isabelle and Penelope. These girls didn’t have the best reputation neither. As Trinity walked through the hall of South River Middle School, she realized some of the the trouble-some eighth graders were already causing a commotion. Middle school is a tough transition for everyone, especially at South River Middle school. Teenagers suffocated the halls, pushed those passing by, and shoved each other. There were bullies at any corner and someone was always lurking near to shout out an insult at their victim. All the kids there practically begged their parents to let them switch schools. Unfortunately, that was not an option. Just one of the many, Trinity Jones was a small ordinary girl in the seventh grade with long, jagged brown hair and watchful eyes. What does success really mean? Although the term success has one fundamental definition; it partakes in many different meanings when being the subject raised in discussion. As children and young adults, we are told to try our best to succeed at our goals and ambitions, no matter how unique or challenging they may be. Growing up in a conventional family, I was raised in no different approach. However, one major failure I faced while growing up was not making the varsity bowling team during my freshman year of high school. I felt like I had let my family down. Failure was never an option for my family as we always try to accomplish our goals to the best of our abilities. To be the best we could be was always the goal. It wasn’t like I dreamt

Also I'll know I'm successful when I can finally say '' I did it'' and feel good about it knowing that all that hard work and stress payed off.
