Life is a short adventure and that why we should use the best of the life that we have been given. Most people with end stage diseases regret the opportunities that they lost. They always wish that they could have experienced more opportunities. (1) Every day that you are living is a miracle and you need to live it because there might be no tomorrow. I remember my grandfather was always telling me I wish I could redo this life because I learned that life is very short and you need to take risks and chances in your life.
A number of people don't pay attention to the fact that they don't have an eternal life. They are to busy spending there time on being anxious, worried and having negative thought rather than spending it positive and important factors around them and

Always tell your family members that they are important to you and you love them. Spend a lot of time being with family because at some point they might not be there. Bring a smile to each other's faces even if it's for the simple things. Spending holidays with family members is a great way to full fill our lives with happiness. Each Christmas and Nowruz and other religious and national holidays when I sit at the table with my family and my mischievous cousins I think of how blessed I am to have them in my life. Seeing my grandparents smiling and seeing the joy in their faces is so precious.
Though, your friends were at some point random people on the streets once they become your friends and then your best friends they become your priority and one of the most important people in your life. There will be ups and downs through any friendship but at the end no matter what happens they will always be there no matter what and have your back. When your sad and you don't feel like talking they would know exactly how to cheer you up. They will know exactly what's wrong without you telling them. Friends are a gift from
The life I live is just like any other person who lives within the middle class. I’ve experienced times in my life where I didn’t have enough money, but there has also been occasions when I did. It is very common in my home to hear every couple of months, “We don’t have enough money, we need to save.”
The concept of living “the good life” means something different for everyone. There is a general understanding that living “the good life” is associated with unyielding happiness and lasting satisfaction. The exact meaning of this desired life was pondered by thinkers and philosophers for hundreds of years. They constructed principals of behavior, thought, and obligation that would categorize a person as “good”. Although some of these ancient philosophies about “the good life” had overlapping ideas, their concepts varied widely. This contrast of ideas can be examined through two major characters in two famous works: Aeneas in “The Aeneid” and Socrates in “The Apology”. Aeneas exemplifies the philosophy that the direct route to “the good life" is through faith, trust in the Gods, and family, while Socrates in “The Apology” emphasizes free will, and vast knowledge of life.
Life. One minute it is there, the next it is gone. This is the cycle of life. You are born, you have many experiences that shape who you are, and then you die. You may die as a result of your life experiences. But no matter what you do, you will always die. No matter how safe you play, how hard you work. You will die. People have life threatening situations every day, they happen everywhere. Those types of situations even happen in our home towns. In fact I was involved in one over the summer.
Friends are good to have. Especially the really close friends. Friends are people you have fun with; Friends are people you can rely on; Friends are people that look out for you; Friends are people you play with; Friends are people everyone needs. Friends, best friends, family, are all people that you can count on to be there for you.
In 2005, Steve jobs discussed the value of death entering someone's life. In Steve’s speech he shared how his cancer turned his life around. The initial toll it paid on him and his family was unbearable. At first there was a lot of pain and confusion that lead to lots of tears. Then from one of the scariest moments in his life came some of the most beautiful moments. Not knowing whether or not that day, week or year was his last, Steve and his family began to cherish every opportunity they had with each other. .As hard as it may have been, in the end , Steve realized that the idea of death is not terrible. Cancer and death itself is what made a man so successful in life realize that you need to live every day like it's your last.
The moment you find out that you have a year to live, but before your body fades away and your stops working for you, you will get angry, but then something begins to shift, and you begin to unwind: you do not deny it and accept it. You seem to be happier, as if nothing has happened. On the other hand, you can get depressed, upset, worried and get scared, all at the time, and cry with terror: “Oh, no, I do not want it to happen!”
In anticipating the progression of my lifespan I have taken steps to have lifelong care provided if needed. Provided sufficient health and life insurance to assist in long-term care. A living will and an after death will. Life insurance in place for the event of my end-of-life care. Death is a process every living thing must experience. In viewing my own mortality views, I was taught as a child that everyone will die one day. By experiencing the deaths of many of my relatives and friends it has been quite clear that death is certain for all those who are alive. The Bible tells us that it appointed unto all men once to die, but after this they will be judge, Hebrews 9:27. I have lived a life that I would say was full. Therefore, I really do not have any regrets but I am content in whatsoever state that I am in and I have learned to accept the things I can’t change. My Bible teaching and up bringing by my parents has given me many valuable tools that I can apply during these lifespan years. Having biblical knowledge has allowed me to trust in the things of God and rest in him. At this stage in my life I am living
Because everyone’s life will eventually end, I believe that people should make the most out of the time they have. In the epic poem, Gilgamesh, A man by the name of Gilgamesh is searching for immortality. For example, In the poem it says “How can I be silent, how can I rest, when Enkidu whom I love is dust, and I too shall die and be laid in the earth. You live by the sea-shore and look into the heart of it; young woman, tell me now, which is the way to Utnapishtim, the son of Ubara-Tutu?” Gilgamesh is aware that life can end abruptly, as he has seen this with his lost friend Enkidu. Gilgamesh is afraid to die so he seeks Utnapishtim in hope of gaining immortality. He knew he was going to die, yet he wanted to make the most out of what his
What is the meaning of life? Well known Greek philosphers such as Socrates and Plato believed that our purpose in this life was to gain knowledge in preparation for the next life. Other Philosophers such as Epicurus believed that pleasure is the main goal in life. After giving these ideas lots of thought, I have come to my own conclusion that the true meaning of life is far more complex than either of these; far too complex for any human to fully comprehend. In fact these two different philosophies are only part of the grand picture. If it were that easy for men to figure out our lives wouldn't be so messed up now. The meaning of life revolves around many different things. I
All through life, we experience various occasions when decision-making become necessary. A number of them present themselves in difficult forms and at crucial points. Most of the verdict we take will eventually figure and describe our track of lives. These are what we refer to as lessons of life. Choices never present themselves in an easy way. In some instance we are always forced to pay a price to achieve something. This implies that we are trading for an outcome we are seeking.
I can remember as a child always asking myself the “why” questions of life. What is the purpose of life? Why are we here? What is the purpose of life? Why do certain things happen? And is there really a God? I had always kept these questions to myself and eventually pushed them out of my mind altogether. I was raised in a Christian household and you just were not allowed to ask questions of that nature and doubt the faith. The world is the way it is because God made it that way and that is all there is to it. I was really excited to take this class because it would finally give me the opportunity to exercise my personal thoughts and beliefs. I have come to agree with Socrates that “the unexamined life is not
In the movie "Life Is Beautiful", a Jewish man and his family are put into a concentration camp during the Holocaust. The movie gives an inside look at the horrors the Jews were faced with during the Holocaust. "Life Is Beautiful" should be incorporated into a unit on the Holocaust in schools because it shows everything the Jews were faced with, it handles expressing the horrors of the Holocaust without being too graphic, and it would help students get a more personal feeling of what happened to the Jews.

Life as we know it could vanish within seconds. The next day is not promised to anyone that walks on this earth. As we live our everyday lives peacefully, we tend not to think what our mission or purpose in life is. Instead, we think what we must do for that to be a “successful” person. Despite this way of thinking, just think for a second. What makes life meaningful? What is life anyway? These questions dive right into the heart of the philosophical, psychological, and the biological aspects of life and what the true meaning of life is. This is a very arguable topic due to every person’s different perspective on life and what it means to them. In summary, I personally think that life is simply what you make of it and each person’s accomplishments has its own merit
It is common sense that all the human beings would like to live a happy life and they will spare no efforts in order to realize the purpose of really living a happy life in the end. However, different people have different definitions toward what a happy life is and they tend to have different standards as for how a life is that can be regarded as a happy life. There is no doubt that people will then try different means in order to pursue a happy life based on their definition toward what a happy life is. Therefore, the following will talk about the pursuit of a happy life from the perspectives of both Dalai Lama in The Art of Happiness and Viktor E. Frankl in Man’s Searching for Meaning, during which the experiences of some characters from the film Forrest Gump will be applied as evidence. Generally speaking, the pursuit of a happy life in the minds of Dalai Lama and Viktor E. Frankl can be achieved via experiencing sufferings and adversity. It is hoped that this analysis can help people understand what a happy is from a different point of view.
