Lil Wayne and Other Celebs Who Are Cheapskates and Deadbeats When you use somebody's fireworks you have to pay for them. Don't we all teach this to our children? That's right, you would think that some things would go without saying. Apparently not if your name is Lil Wayne, Mr. Carter, Weezy F. Baby, or whatever your being called that day. Bossip reports that Pyrotek Special Effects had sued Lil Wayne in U.S. District Court for failing to pay for fireworks, effects, and permits they provided. A line-item account included 200 tracer comets, 62 white flashes with a bang, 36 propane tanks, and 30 pounds of exploding powder for a total of $86,000. After nearly 2 years, the two parties seem to have reached a settlement. Lil Wayne agrees to …show more content…
So, it's not that he doesn't have the ability to pay for his pyro. Lil Wayne isn't alone in this lifestyle. Vince Herbert didn't pay for his $12,000 Grammy suit and is being sued by the designer. Tamar Braxton doesn't pay her stylists on time, if at all. British Williams owes $18,000 in taxes for her online business. And the list goes on. Just because you have money that doesn't mean you treat others well. I don't' know if rich daughters help out their dads, but Mathew Knowles, father of Beyonce, owes over $30,000 in child support to his mistress. She says that because he won't pay up she has to be on food stamps. NAS is touring so he has an excuse, kind of. The tour is sold out, the money is there, but his daughter's college tuition isn't paid, and he's $11,000 behind on child support. Bow Wow isn't touring, he was spending his child support payments at a night club. When the process servers came, he took off running. Celebrities sure live a different life. I'm late with a bill I get yellow and red slips in the mail saying things like my utilities are getting shut off. Come on, y'all, do the right thing and pay
McLune also believes,“many hip-hop rappers are sexist and materialistic singers”(222), and not many rappers sing about equality and respect between the sexes. Even female rapper’s follow in the male rappers footsteps of disrespecting black women. Female rappers follow this path to keep from being “targeted, slandered, and ignored”(223). Female rappers who take a stance against the norm risk being called “bitch, a ho-or worse, a dyke.” McLune states that she wants the sexism to stop and until it does hip-hop will fail. According to McLune, Kevin Powell excuses sexism because of poverty. Experience has shown us that any man, rich or poor, can be sexist regarding women. By allowing the behavior to continue black women will always be the victim.

lifestyle, a lifestyle heavily influenced by and involved with drugs. Atlanta-based rapper Young Thug (real name Jeffrey Williams) was arrested earlier today in Sandy Springs, Georgia for making terrorist remarks. The arrest took place around 6 a.m. and was made by U.S. Marshals who were carrying an outstanding warrant for his arrest. TMZ reports that the charges stem from an incident one week ago where Williams threatened to kill a mall cop working at Atlanta's Perimeter mall. He avoided the police for eight days, but then US marshalls arrested him helping the Dunwoody Police, and he was taking in without incident. He is currently being held in DeKalb County Jail.
After a friend introduced him to the owners of Cash Money Records, he pestered them by leaving rap songs on the owners’ answering machines until they finally would give him a chance. The owners, Bryan “Birdman” or “Baby” Williams and Ronald “Slim” Williams signed him to their record label when he was 12 going by the name of Gangsta D. The owners were impressed by his freestyle abilities. Birdman really liked the young Carter and took him under his wing so to speak and became his mentor. Many people mistakenly believe that Birdman is Lil Wayne’s father and they are additionally confused by the fact that Lil Wayne also refers to Birdman as his dad and pa, but there is actually no relation. The first album released with Cash Money Records was in 1995 when the producer, Mannie Fresh, teamed Dwayne with a 14 year old named B.G. The album was called True Story. In 1997 there was supposed to be a follow up album; however his mom tried to put a stop to his association with Cash Money Records after she noticed him wearing gang related clothes, but Dwayne ran away. He took his stepfather’s gun with him and accidentally shot himself. He was taken to the hospital and questioned by police. He admitted stealing his stepfather’s gun. This landed Rabbit in jail for having an unregistered handgun. Sadly, a short time after Rabbit was released from jail he was kidnapped and killed.
In a new op-ed for the New York Times, Jay-Z slams the judge's decision as unfair. "What’s happening to Meek Mill is just one example of how our criminal justice system entraps and harasses hundreds of thousands of black people every day," he writes, pointing out that Mill "has been on probation for basically his entire adult life." A person on probation can end up in jail over a technical violation like missing a curfew."
In recent discussion of rapper Chief Keef being banned from performing in Rhode Island, one controversial issue has been whether or not he should be able to perform like any other artist. On the other hand, some local residences of Rhode Island think he should not set a foot on stage due to his history of rapping about drugs, guns, and violence. My own view is that art is art in any form. Yes, Chief Keef is a violent and dangerous individual but he’s not performing to tell people to pick up guns and shoot people. If said rapper gets on stage to perform it’s just a performance and that’s all. It’s like how NWA first started and they got banned from venues, granted they weren’t as bad as young Keef in these modern times they rapped about their lives and what
Most people would not complain about athletes making a lot of money. After all, we pay to watch them perform. We root for the ones that play for our teams, and root against the ones that play for the opponents of our favorite teams. The athletes earning the league minimum in a variety of sports are among the top 1% of wage earners in the United States. The problem is, a number of them don't know how to handle money. Among NBA players, 60% file for bankruptcy within five years or less of retiring, according to Wyattresearch.com, and the percentage of former NFL players filing for bankruptcy within the same time frame is even greater--78%. Could part of the reason be their extravagant, some might say dumb, purchases? Following are ten athletes who made some of the dumbest purchases ever.

`With being a celebrity, comes money. In California, where most celebs reside, some facilities have a pay-to-stay program. In this program, celebs pay anywhere from $50 to $175 a day in order to stay in a cell away from the brutality they may get from dangerous criminals, because of their celebrity status. Fireworks are one of those things that everyone loves to see every chance they can get. Acme Fireworks wants to start showing fireworks on the regular basis, but it will cost more to hire more people for the labor, insurance, and the service of setting off the fireworks. I will determine if the contract with the businesses will be governed by common law or the Uniform Commercial Code and explain why, analyze whether the owner formed the contract with the business and apply the five essential elements of an enforceable contract. I will explain the potential personal liability to Acme Fireworks if a spectator is injured by a stray firework from a fireworks display, discuss the difference employment types and relationships relevant to agency law and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of each type specific to Acme Fireworks. I will also explain why Acme Fireworks should not operate as a sole proprietorship and I will recommend a new business entity and provide rationale to support my recommendation.
Fireworks in shows such as 4th of July, are much more powerful than those offered to consumers.
A few years back on a partially cloudy 4th of July, it was an exciting day for me, my family and friends. For us celebrating Independence day is one of the highlights in our summer breaks. Arrangements are already sorted out for the day. The plan was to go to this viewing spot to watch a firework show. It wasn’t as perfect it could’ve been due to a complication. Spent the first half of the day being in my previous neighborhood using the small amount of fireworks we got. The place I lived at is a two-story apartment with four bedrooms, located half a mile near Central Middle School, and playing around in my community which is surrounded by free space, made it really pleasant to use the fireworks .
