I chose to walk around a neighbor with my roommate for this assignment. We often go on walks to get out of the room when we need to take a break from school work or haven’t been outside on the weekends. Why I felt this would be a good idea is because when we go on these walks, we like to point out homes or features on homes that we like; it keeps me focused on the activity we are doing by talking about the homes. On the walk that I did for this assignment we walked on the outskirts of Lincolnville for forty-five minutes, taking a usual route of ours. We walked in comfortable clothes during the evening, just before dark. It was cool outside and enjoyable weather. We would pass others taking advantage of the nice night and say hello as we passed.
Defendant’s trailer did not exceed the scope of the warrant because it was within the curtilage of his Asheville home. Four factor determine this: 1) proximity of the place to the home, 2) whether the place is enclosed with the home, 3) the place’s use, and 4) the steps taken by the owner to protect it from observation. United States v. Dunn, 480 U.S. 294, 301 (1987). If an officer knew or should have known the area was not within the scope of their warrant, they must exclude the area from their search. Maryland v. Garrison, 480 U.S. 79, 86-87 (1987). A search warrant must contain a statement that establishes with reasonable certainty that the premises can be searched and describe the items being seized. N.C. Gen. Stat. § 15A-246 (2015).
A potential subject for an essay reflecting the second prompt would be a place of importance such as Munds Park Arizona. A photo would be provided showing family playing a competitive game of corn hole with the beautiful pine trees in the background. Despite the beautiful scenery, Munds Park is a place of importance due to the family aspect that is enforced when an individual is around there. At the family cabin, an individual not only can relax the entire day if desired, but they could as well go outside and enjoy the perfect weather and views. Other activities include going on a family hike even including the dogs or taking the ATV out into the woods for a ride. Nighttime activities such as making s’mores, playing board games, or watching
There are many interesting historical things that occurred at the Lincolnville Historic District. Lincolnville was located right by a major city named St. Augustine, Florida. The main people living in the district were Henry M. Flagler, and D.M. Pappy. It was a major place for activists to begin the end of racial prejudice

I'm interested in the below case! However, is this case located in Franklinville, NJ? Also, what is the estimated mileages? I was not able to google it on mapquest for the distance because of limited locational information. Lastly, since the hours are flexible, does that mean I can pick and choose the hours?
The downtown area had groups of mothers and children, as well as a group of adolescents walking. The large park located near the river had several families walking around. The bike path was being used as well. The commercial are on U.S. Route 34 was also crowded and traffic was heavy. The overall community appeared to be composed of young families predominantly of the Caucasian race. All of the people observed appeared to be well nourished and not only dressed well, but appropriately dress for the weather. The individuals observed appeared to be happy and enjoying a nice fall afternoon.
Rebecca Solnit’s Walking and the Suburbanized Psyche stresses her concerns about the suburban wave that has plagued the world in recent times. According to her, the mind, the body, and the world have a special bond that is being vanquished by the lack of recreational walking. In the eighteenth century, there was a “golden era” for walking because recent accommodations made it possible for the general public to enjoy the untamed nature all around them. This era was short-lived, as suburbs rose to popularity so did their unorthodox labyrinths which made walking simple distances nearly impossible to the public. The reason why walking in nature is important, Solnit shares, is because it allows the mind to flow freely without the corruption of everyday obstacles that the suburbs brought. She explains that in order for the mind to avoid being molded into a sterile dull thing, it must imagine in nature. If we do not continue to walk, the history we have with walking will diminish as will the special bond our ancestors cherished so dearly. Without it, Solnit fears that we will no longer be able to produce such things, however, in recent times walking is not a luxury many can do. I disagree because society has changed to the point where walking is not only a rarity but also a threat to many.
I had the privilege to go to the Lincoln Station. As soon as I got off I started to go to the houses that were near the station. I started to do observations of the things I saw Then I compared the geography of Denver to Lone Tree. Lastly, I decided which one of the two was a more sustainable city. The following paragraphs show my findings. In Lone Tree, I saw more of a plant variations. They were houses that had different types of plants. In Lone Tree, you're able to see more grass in each individual house. Another thing I saw was that the population in Lone tree was very small compared to the population in Denver. The bigger the population the more cars people are going to use. This will cause more gasses enmities to the atmosphere. The amount of needed to eat is directly related to the population of a place. Since their more population their more trucks coming in and out for food. Another of the many observations I saw was that the houses in Lone Tree were very big. When houses are very big the people living in the houses use more of everything. They use more light to power their house. Another of the things big houses use is a large amount of the heating and cooling system. It takes a longer period of time to keep their houses warmer or
“There was no possibility of taking a walk that day. We had been wandering, indeed, in the leafless shrubbery an hour in the morning; but since dinner […] the cold winter wind had brought with it clouds so sombre, and a rain so penetrating, that futher outdoor exercise was now out of the question” (7).
We started our journey early in the morning since the drive was 2 hours long. We took some coffee breaks and quick selfies along the way. At 12 PM, we arrived at the beautiful Frankenmuth City, and also it was a warm sunny day. The city looked crowded and quite bustling too because the place was full of souvenirs, restaurant, clothing stores. Once we get there,
After a supper of fried fish, grits, and biscuits, the children’s bellies were full and their imaginations were running wild- they hadn’t completely forgotten living on the trail- The same as when they were younger, they wanted Charity to tell them a story before they went to sleep. She smiled at their eagerness, remembering all the stories she had told them at night while they were on the trail from Sandersville to Canton. It seemed that once they were settled in a house and not camping under the stars, the need for her bedtime stories were no longer necessary. Living on the trail seemed to bring her children much closer to her; she missed living that way…
As my father, my siblings, and I continued moving through Boston, my sister noted that we could save ourselves about five minutes of walking if we cut through the Boston Common. As she had selected a pair of “cute” sneakers for the trip that were entirely unprepared for the hour long trek back to the car, she vehemently insisted on this and we walked through a large park that was not nearly well-lit enough for me to be entirely comfortable with. The entire walk in the Common was characterized by my insistence that we
Maycomb County, a small town in Alabama, is going through The Great Depression as well as racism. Harper Lee’s historical novel, To Kill a Mockingbird is told through a child’s eyes as she experiences different views of life and comes of age. Her family helps her through this process. Although Aunt Alexandra is first presented as a cold woman, Lee later reveals that she is a warm aunt.
In George Orwell's Animal Farm, propaganda is a prevalent device used to influence the animals. After running Mr. Jones out of his own farm, the animals take over and a hierarchy starts to form amongst them. The pigs, known as the most intelligent of the animals, use many types of propaganda to achieve control and leadership of the farm. Of all the propaganda techniques used by the pigs, euphemism, oversimplification, and internal contradiction are some of the most important. Firstly, the pigs use euphemism to slowly show their dominance over the other animals.
The nineteenth century creator made dinstinct climates inside his work, to a limited extent, with many-sided vocabulary. For instance in "Fall of the House of Usher," Edgar Allan Poe portrays the house as being decorated with "phantasmagoric armorial trophies." Using a word as eye getting as phantasmagoric powers the peruser to interruption and take some thought about the sentence. This respite instantly sets a tone for the section and makes the peruser see the points of interest of Poe's story. Another component to Edgar Allan Poe is reiteration. This reiteration guarantees that perusers will consider the more profound significance of his written work and comprehend which ideas are vital in his stories. In "The Tell-Tale Heart," the storyteller,
