The Plagiarization of work is so common in everyday work with the advancement of technology and how easily accessible information is. What’s tough is to detect whether the author of the work is intentionally or unintentionally trying to deceive a reader or greater audience. The Little Book of Plagiarism, by Richard A. Plagiarism refers to the purposeful or accidental use of text without properly giving credit to its author. Bucks County Community College, A Statement from the Facility states the following, “It must help them to make connections among disciplines, help them develop an integrated view of knowledge, and help them recognize that their use of knowledge always carries consequences, as well as moral and ethical responsibilities.” An elaborated look at this sentence defines the responsibility we as students carry in our educational meaning. While plagiarism can be unintentional, taking credit for someone else 's work is wrong, students should consistently cite work while, professors should be aware of any plagiarism errors in order to correct them. Administrators should also voice plagiarism and enforce it, and most importantly the community at large should become aware of the wrongs in plagiarism to avoid further piracy.
The Internet and the World Wide Web contains plethora of information that anyone can be accessed on their fingertips. Unfortunately, this unprecedented access has resulted to easy copying of someone’s original work and passing it off as someone’s own called plagiarism. To counteract the exacerbating issues of plagiarism, many writers are settling down in using online plagiarism checkers to ensure no plagiarism has been committed.
Perpetrators would use plagiarism as a way to bring fame or credit upon themselves for a personal gain of sorts, or to gain more publicity in articles published for mass media. The big problem with it is, the more publicity that illegitimate media receives, only increases the chances of someone noticing and the author or editor getting caught, not to mention the ethical value of claiming work that isn’t your own. I have no experience with this happening to me, but I would imagine that putting lots of effort into a project, only for someone to take it and claim it as their own, would be very frustrating to say the least. It is a very unethical and dishonest act, which is why it is strictly enforced by creditable mass media businesses. Plagiarism is a serious issue that may diminish the value of a scholarly work and interferes with the professional growth of an individual. For example, in 2003, Jayson Blair resigned from his position as a reporter for the New York Time because of “alleged plagiarism” (Dolak, 2003). Another case of plagiarism would be Matthew C. Whitaker, an associate professor at Arizona State University who in 2011 and 2015 was accused of plagiarism (Ryman, 2017). In both scenarios, Jayson Blair and Matthew C. Whitaker failed to properly paraphrase and cite sources (Dolak, 2003; Ryman 2017).

She was also one of the students who attempted plagiarism. Professor gave Susan a “F” and struggled between whether to report her to the dean or not. After Susan died from overdose drug, professor felt guilty about giving her a “F”, and later noticed the behind meaning of plagiarism is powerless, so why fail them when you can help them pass?
