Headland Middle School is a Title I school located in Headland, Alabama. Headland is a small community located in Henry County, Alabama. We have 585 students in grades 6-8. We have about 49% of our students to receive free or reduced lunch. We have a diverse student population (African-American 35%, Hispanic 8%, White 55%, Multiracial 2%), which is make up of our community.

Out of the individuals, families, and groups, I have more experience working individuals than anything else. In undergrad I did my psychology practicum at the student support services for Derrick Scott as a student mentor. Basically I would talk to students who were struggling, and about the fail out, and help them in adjusting to college life better. I to found SWOT analysis to be enlightening and useful in finding the strength and weakness of my company. Though, the ability to keep a forward looking attitude is very health, but understanding why failures happen is very important too. It may be a sign that people within that organization are miscommunicating with each other. Addressing this issues now may avoid future problems in the future.

Quadrant RE, Inc. is an organization that invests in real estate projects for the primary purpose of earning profits. In other words, Quadrant RE, Inc. is an investment firm that uses real estate as its investment vehicle. In particular the organization invest in what is known within the industry as value-add projects and development projects. “In business, value-add refers to the extra features a company gives its products that go beyond standard expectations, such as free maintenance, training or warranties” (Welk, 2016, para.2). These projects consist of land development, new construction, rehabilitation, relocation and repurpose, and speculative funding plays. “Real estate development is a multi-step process that can be complicated, lengthy and risky” (Wald, 2016).

After completing the SWOT analysis, I found that I could offer an organization more than I ever gave myself credit. With such an in-depth look into my strengths, I was able to pinpoint some strong traits. Building good relationships with other people can greatly increase my professional effectiveness. Good communication skills are learned through trial and error, which will assist in constantly reviewing and improving my approach to various situations. Having strong intuition can offer opportunities to make accurate predictions by being able to navigate a situation. Let’s face it, people all over the world love beauty. Holy wood is obsessed with it. Like many women in America and all over the world, we want to look our best, we want to look and feel beautiful. Women and some men want the gift of youth and beauty and will go to great lengths to attain it. After pondering about what I was going to write my SWOT analysis on, I decided to go for what I know best: Beauty Products! I decided to conduct a SWOT analysis on Ulta Salons and Cosmetics. The acronym, SWOT stands for strengths, weakness, opportunities and threats of a particular company.
