Lord of the flies
1. Discuss two character traits of two different characters. Give one specific example for each character trait (total of four examples) from the book to prove your assertions.
One of the character traits of the character Jack was he was very power hungry. One example in the book is when in the first chapter Ralph was selected to be the leader and Jack got upset because he wanted to be the leader. Another Example of Jack being power hungry is when he separated from Ralph and created his own tribe. Jack wanted to be the chief so he went and left Ralph.
One of the character traits of another character Simon is he very helpful and hardworking. An example of this is when he was willing to help Ralph build and keep the fire. Another example of these traits is when Simon was helping the young ones and was nice to them.

One of the main relationships was with Jack and Ralph. This relationship was very hateful. Jack had very strong feelings against Ralph and tried to hunt him down at the end of the book. Another Example of this is when they were fighting on the cliff and Jack stabs Ralph in the ribs.

One of the scenes where a major character faces a problem is when Jack and his hunters were chasing Ralph and he was thinking what he should do. This shows a lot about Ralph and how he is it shows ralph is civilized and thinks through problems and doesn’t just do thinks without thinking about them.
