This means that there is a chance that both families will break out into a war against each other. This is because it had already happened like when the servants, Benvolio, and Tybalt were fighting at the square of Verona.(I,i 55-67) Another example of their love being unstable is when Tybalt challenge Romeo to a duel. In the story, it talks about “Tybalt, the kinsman to old Capulet, hath sent a letter to his father’s house. A challenge, in my life.”(II,vi 6- 9) This could mean trouble because fighting is prohibited. But they fought because Mercutio died. After killing Tybalt, Romeo was banished. In the story the Prince said, “ and all for that offense immediately we do exile him hence.”(III,i 179-180) In the end, Romeo was banished and wanted to kill himself because he will never see

After Romeo kills Tybalt, the nurse carries the news to Juliet and states that he is to be banished. “Tybalt is gone and Romeo banishèd”.
This means that Tybalt thought Romeo is a villian and hated him. As soon as Tybalt saw Romeo these are the words he said to him, this fight, and death could have easily been avoided if Tybalt had not opened his mouth. Romeo responded saying he loved Tybalt and he will now leave because Tybalt has shown he doesn’t know who Romeo truly is. Instead of dropping this fight Tybalt responded with “Boy, this shall not excuse the injuries that thou hast done me. Therefore turn and draw¨ (3.1.62). Moments before the duel between Romeo and Tybalt took place, a heated argument took place between Mercutio and Tybalt. This resulted in the two drawing their swords and engaging in battle with each other. The battle ended with Tybalt impaling Mercutio’s breast with his sword, mortally wounding him which later killed him. This follows the previous example of the feud between the Capulets and the Montagues which always leads to bloodshed. Romeo challenged Tybalt to a duel where he avenged the death of Mercutio by murdering Tybalt.
The Montagues and the Capulets both hate each other and so Romeo and Juliet could not be together. In the prologue, the Chorus states, ¨Two households both alike in dignity,/In fair Verona where we lay our scene/ From ancient grudge, break to new mutiny,/Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean:/From forth the fatal loins of these two foes,/A pair of star-crossed lovers take their life.(P. 1-6) If the families were not fighting, Romeo and Juliet would be able to be together. Also, tybalt would not have anything against so he would not kill Mercutio.
This leads to Romeo being banished, never to be allowed into Verona again. Forcing Friar Laurence and Juliet to make a hasty plan. Unfortunately Romeo is not informed, seeing Juliet in the Vault makes him commit suicide, when Juliet wakes up she follows the same
