Love. We cannot see, we cannot taste and we cannot feel it yet it is one of the most powerful things in the world. Love can come as softly as a feather falling down from the air on a colorful louisiana street after Mardi Gras or as hard as eggs hitting the side of a house on Halloween. This four letter word has so much power over the mental sanity of a being and can break a being down to their core. There is no finite definition of love for it is different among all. Love is one of the most universal things because love does not discriminate. It can happen to all or none. They had gotten married on a date unfamiliar to her now due to the lack of memory in the relationship. She was married to Devin Collins, who was the captain of the chess club back in high school and now a physical education teacher. He grew up a lot since high school, growing muscles, strength and an ego. Samantha had three children, two girls and one boy. The boy’s name was Charles. Being the only boy he was over glorified and forgiven for most of his life by his father. The two girls, Amanda and Christine, were a year apart and stellar students but received no recognition. Samantha herself was forced by Devin to quit her job at the hospital as a doctor because of the children, even though she was sure it was of status and jealousy. As bad as Samantha’s situation sounds, one thing keeps her going. And it is the guy at the coffee shop. She did not know his name but they had exchanged a few words. By her understanding, he was a sweet, 6 foot tall, blonde haired man who seemed genuinely excited to see her every morning. Now, Samantha was a beautiful, vibrant woman. She had beautiful red curls that framed her freckled face. She was 5 foot 11 and had curves in all of the right places. Even being 44 years old, she looked 22. And every morning she felt that way when she walked into that cafe and saw his smile widen as she walked in. He looked at her with such lust and joy that her heart skipped a beat when he looked at her. But on March 10th of 2016, they had more than an exchange of words. She woke up at 5 in the morning with the same skip in her step as she does every morning. Today she decided to dress down and to take her computer and online shop. She put her hair in a messy bun, put her glasses on, a big sweatshirt, some sweatpants and headed out the door.
