As I am still working on the project, I could say, so far it is going well. Though I am very familiar with the instructions and the background information, but there is always something to learn. So, from doing this project and researching warning issues, I learned that Lovenox could cause the blood clot around spinal cord and produce permanent paralysis if the patient is having any epidural procedure and lumbar puncture. Since our patients often have lumbar puncture done, I will be paying close attention on the timing of Lovenox and lumbar puncture procedure. Furthermore, I will spread this knowledge to everybody I work with. Until the last minute, I will work on improving my project, including improving design and organization, as well
Now that you have completed your project, you need to look back at your proposal and compare it with your finished product. You need to answer the following questions as completely and honestly as possible.
A physician with a wealth of experience in the fields of anesthesiology and pain management, Dr. Daniel Kendall has served as an interventional pain medicine specialist with National Spine and Pain Centers for 17 years. During the first class period we were able to discuss the syllabus and gain a general understanding of what we can expect from SOCW 502, as well as the competencies that will be covered in this course. We further discussed what we, as students, are expected to do to be successful in this course. After discussing the syllabus we were able to have a group discussion about the semester project as well as the weekly reflective journals. This gave us time to get acquainted and further discuss each person’s area of interest, which will be helpful in selecting a topic for the semester project. We were then able to learn more about the instructor of the course. It was also interesting and entertaining to hear about the educational background of the
Three years ago, I was first introduced to the Student National Pharmaceutical Association. The mission of serving the underserved was something that resonated with me strongly as a lack of resources early on in life made the local pharmacist my family’s main point of access to medical care. For this reason, I gained a strong passion to serve the community through SNPhA. Early on, I sought out mentors within the organization. These mentors taught me a great deal about the organization, leadership, and growth. Recently, I got the opportunity to serve on the executive team as our chapters Historian. Working as a part of the executive team has given me insight into this amazing organization at the local level, while allowing me to hone my communication
My most challenging concern is finding a place to implement my Capstone project. I thought about using my local library, but getting nurses to come maybe a problem. Right now I am on medical leave from my hospital, therefore I cannot get the hospital involve. My potential resources are my two friends that have experience in teaching. One friend is a nursing instructor and another friend once taught in a LPN nursing program. Most of my nursing jobs required me to talk to a large group of people during our interdisciplinary team meetings. I had to discuss patients’ cases with the interdisciplinary team. In my class, as a part of a teaching exercise, I want to talk about documented case studies regarding culture and have students talk about
I have had the pleasure of viewing Ms. Coronado’s professional development over the past year, and I can state with assurance that she is a responsible and motivated person with a high degree of integrity. Workings for the same school district has let me witness Ms. Coronado surpass through her new role as a Special Education Teacher. When faced with challenges, she tackles them head on and it appears she enjoys the process of learning and overcoming difficulties. She takes the initiative to identify problems and develops solutions. Her role requires strong communication skills, and she has shown that she has the ability to cooperate and respect with the entire school staff.
It can be administered alone or part of a multi-disciplinary approach in relieving symptoms. It delivers pain-relieving medication directly to the source of pain in musculoskeletal pain conditions and their effects are often immediate and long lasting. They are often used to reduce opioid side effects or gain better analgesic efficacy. However, serious complications have been reported in the literature. The Closed Claims Project Database has reported 284 chronic pain management claims were reported between 1970 and 2000; 96% of the claims were related to interventional pain management techniques (10). Seventy-eight percent of these were related to nerve blocks and injections. Paraplegia or quadriplegia, epidural abscess, chemical injury from spinal cord injections, epidural hematoma, even more alarming death and brain damage were some of the reported complications; most commonly reported was pneumothorax and spinal cord nerve injury
EREPORT # 19242 stated the following: I don't have a specific date when the incident happened. On today, February 24, 2016, Melanie reported to me that her butt bleeds because Rudy (step father) keep hitting her.
It has been 3 weeks since my last weekly reflection so I have had a lot of time to get some great work done. I have: made videos, Designed an Apple TV mount for the schools classrooms walls, cleaned up websites for teachers, written an app review, worked on a class project called Digital literacy and finally I have been working on my ILE. (individual learning endeavor)

I completely understand the importance of working on our projects with planning and without much delay. A similar
This episode starts with the title of the show clearly presented centre screen with the current main institutional colour of Newsround, blue. The rest of the set is mainly in darkness except for the main screen at the back, which contains a white and purple globe like the one on BBC news which is red and white, and rectangular blue lights are also featured on the set. Purple is also an institutional colour of Newsround that is why it is included. The singular female presenter is seen in a full body shot.
I agreed with all of your suggestions. I had that sentence about emotional distress in their because it is something Rex has made me put in during previous studies, but if you do not feel it is needed I went ahead and deleted it. I also reworded the sentence concerning why we told the participants I would not be grading their work. Attached is a new version with my edits, please give it a look over and see if you agree with everything I
On October 19, 2016, as we went to Tripler Army Medical Center, I was placed in Labor and Delivery. When we got there, didn’t have so many women ready to give birth. Then about an hour later, they called and said there was a women having a C-section. When I went in to introduce myself she was very nice and was telling me that she was having twin girls named Anastasia and Angelina. I was very scared at first to see a surgical operation but at the same time I was excited to see twins be born. The nurse was explaining to me that they had to do a pre op before doing the procedure. Then as we went in the operating room the Anesthesiologist came and had to give anesthesia in her spine. Since she had a previous C-section they had to cut in the same place as the previous one. It was very interesting seeing a C-section for the very first time in my life. I never thought I would ever have seen twins be born but this was an amazing moment of my life. Before this, I thought it was simple procedure until I seen it with my own eyes.
English language learners (ELLs) need instructional accommodations and modifications in order to succeed in the classroom. In order to help ELLs develop their English language proficiency I would recommend a variety of instructional strategies. Using visuals, gestures and hand motions are extremely helpful for students with little to no English comprehension. Explicitly teaching vocabulary, modeling the vocabulary and proper English, and using word walls are also beneficial to ELLs. Another good way to model and reinforce English is by using audio recordings of books that ELLs can follow along with, doing read-alouds, and providing opportunities to use and practice English in small groups and think-pair-shares. I would also recommend given
