Each group was tested for a total of 12 weeks during this study. The results from this study showed that at around 4 weeks patients who were in actual treatment, Physical therapy and Chiropractic Manipulation, tended to have less severe symptoms than the group who had just the educational booklet. The total average costs of treatment per patient was 437 for physical-therapy, 429 for the chiropractic group, and 153 for the booklet group.
