Case Summary. The Oklahoma City Bomber: Timothy McVeigh. Mass murderer, Timothy McVeigh committed the largest crime involving mass murder in the history of America by the Oklahoma City Bombing that took the lives of a total of 168 people. During the Spring of April in 1995, A rental truck from Ryder drove into a federal building parking lot known as Alfred P. Murrah.

In the D.C, Baltimore area, two people, John Muhammad and Lee Boyd Malvo drove around on a shooting spree that killed and inflicted terror on many people. The spree lasted from October 2nd, 2002 until October 24th.

On April 19, 1995, a detrimental explosion targeting the nine-story Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma took place. This incident of domestic terrorism and the mastermind behind the explosion was credited to Timothy McVeigh who used a truck-bomb to kill 168 people and injure countless others (History.com Staff, 2009).

On December 14th, 2012, 20 students and six adults where shot at the Sandy Hook Elementary School. The name of the killer is Adam Lanza. First, he killed his mother after taking her guns from her house, and then shot down the Sandy Hook Elementary School. Although, this was a very terrifying period, the teachers and staff handled it very well.

Adam Lanza forced his way into Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown. Adam Lanza killed 20 first graders and six adults. The shooter aged 20, Adam Lanza, killed himself after committing his crime. All of the guns and ammunitions were bought by Lanza’s mother. Adam Lanza stole the firearms and committed his crime.

Nearly 20 years later, known as the Valentine’s Day Massacre, occurred. This shooting happened in Hollandsburg, a rural town in Indiana. The execution of 4 young men and an attempted homicide of Betty Jane Spencer left Daniel Stonebraker, Michael Wright, David Smith and Roger Drollinger serving life sentences for their careless mistake.

In July of 1986, McDonald was working as an undercover cop in Central Park, where he stopped to question three suspicious boys. During the stop, one of the boys, Shavod Jones pulled out a .22-caliber and shot McDonald three times. One of the bullets hit McDonald in his neck, piercing through his spinal cord and ultimate paralyzing him. McDonald was rushed to Bellevue Hospital and doctors believed he wouldn’t make it through the night.

On December 24th 2012 a few firemen in west Webster, my hometown, responded to a working house fire. When they arrived on scene a gunman opened fire with a firearm killing LT. Mike Chipperini of the Webster police department. Also killing Tomasz Kaczowka of the West Webster fire department, and injuring two other fire fighters.
