Plan A: My Initiative Plan

The initiative that I have created is Lunchtime Exercise for the Heart. This initiative encourages students of the All Saints community to participate in various sport activities. This idea can help improve their long-term health, make their bones and muscles grow stronger, and reduce the risk of developing heart disease. Lunchtime Exercise for the Heart takes place twice a week: Wednesday & Friday during lunchtime for about 5-10 minutes. All years groups are welcomed to join this fitness activity. The sport activities will take place in the basketball court. At the start of lunch, the students who would like to be involved will get a a piece of paper which provides a fact or a statistic about heart disease in Australia.
