The Constellation I chose is Lupus, also called „the Wolf“. It’s located in the southern sky and was one of the 48 constellations, which were listed by Ptolemy, a second century astronomer. Previously it was an asterism associated with its neighbour constellation Centaurus, but belongs to the now 88 official constellations. It has nine main stars, 41 Bayer stars and five stars with planets. Lupus is surrounded by six different constellations: Hydra, Scorpius, Norma, Circinus, Libra and Centaurus.
I decided to write about this constellation, because I’ve always been fascinated by wolfs and wanted to know more about the constellation named after it.
Officially the constellation Lupus doesn’t have a myth belonging to it, but it can be based on the story of the ancient king of Arcadia, king Lycaon. It’s said that he ruled Arcadia with his fifty sons and he still practiced human sacrifice while other parts of Greece declined it as barbaric. There are two different versions about it:

Zeus was so angered about it that he transfigured him into a wolf and killed all of his fifty sons with a lightning.
The other version says that Zeus visited Arcadia disguised as a traveller. Lycaon and his sons offered him food, a soup made out of the meat of goats and sheep and of his son Nyctimus. Zeus was disgusted and killed all fifty sons with a lightning bolt, reviving Nyctimus in the process.
My own myth tells the story of an ancient creature, which was only sighted in moments of
Whenever Zeus grew up he decided to go back and try to help save his siblings and overthrow his father Cronus. Zeus went back and pretended to want to be a servant for Cronus. Once Zeus was officially a servant of Cronus he gave him a mixture to make him throw up. This resulted in Cronus regurgitating the rest of Zeus’ siblings. Once Zeus had his siblings back they decided to make war. Their goal was to overthrow their father.
Scheff’s Labelling Theory is a process which involves labelling people with mental disorders when they produce behaviour that does not fit with socially constructed norms and labelling those who reflect stereotyped or stigmatized behaviour of the ‘mentally ill’. A disadvantage of labelling an individual with depression is that labelling can accentuate and prolong the issue. In addition by labelling someone with depression who in fact is not depressed may in fact become depressed as a result. Another problem is that labelling an individual with depression means that they can have problems with getting a job and leading a life in the future because

So both of them are talking about how Zeus could become a god, but neither one of them enjoys any of the ideas that come out of their mouths. Then, they get into an argument with each other about who is the worthiest brother. Since Zeus gets so angry at his brother he picks up a stick from outside and throws it as hard as he can at Hades, but misses and the stick turns into a lightning bolt. Being shocked at what just happened, Zeus questions himself being a god. Because Zeus didn’t know that that was going to happen, his brother believes
In a more colorful version, Zeus was angered by the extreme pride of the "Pelasgians", the indigenous inhabitants of the Aegean Sea region, so he decided to punish them.
Another variable of this history says that Zeus, united forces with his brothers Poseidon and Hades for defeating his father and forced him to vomit up the other god's.
When Hera found out about Zeus’ dirty deeds, she convinced Semele to ask Zeus for proof of his true nature. Zeus agreed and presented himself to her in his true form, Zeus’ true glory however burned Semele alive. (ML 301) This myth is a prime example of Zeus’ human tendencies of acting like a common man as he gives in to his more primitive needs and cheats on Hera with Semele.
Cronus was worried that he was going to be overthrown by his kids so he ate all of them except for Zeus who had been hidden away. Zeus ended up fighting Cronus and the other Titans beating
Fourth, continuing with the stories of the Torah and the Greek tale of the Deucalion Flood . One must understand what happen in the story of the Greek tale of the Deucalion Flood. ” On a certain day, Zeus, the chief god of the Greeks, was very angry. Orion is from a greek myth, about a giant, descendant of Poseidon, with the ability to walk on water. He hunted for a king, until he later raped the daughter. As punishment, he was blinded. He went to Hephaestus for help, who in turn, directed him to another god. With his sight returned, he returned to the kingdom, but the King hid in fright. He left to the island of Delos, where he befriended the maiden goddess, Artemis. He died in her service, and was placed among the start. His death is complicated, and it is unsure about how he really died. Some sources say Apollo was jealous, and tricked Artemis into killing him. Others say Artemis did it intentionally after he raped one of her attendants. Yet others say that Gaea, the Earth goddess, summoned a giant scorpion to kill him, after he said he would hunt all the animals on Earth.
Zeus was the olympian ruler, and he was also the God of the sky .However, Zeus wasn’t always the ruler of the olympian gods. Zeus was the son of the Titan king (Cronus). When zeus was born Cronus was going to swallow him, like he had with all of his Siblings ( poseidon, Hades, Hestia, Demeter and Hera). His mother Rhea hid the newborn baby zeus from his father, she hid him in a cave in Mount dicte. The reason why he was swallowing all of his children was because of the prophecy. The prophecy read that Cronus will be overthrown by his son’s. But how did he actually overthrow his father?Zeus went into a war with Cronus that lasted ten years called the Titanomachy
Once upon a time, a little boy named Joseph needed to know what happened to all the necessary water for the village. Joseph was only 8 years old and was unsure about many problems in his world around him. Prometheus thought of mankind with such sympathy that he wanted to provide water for the village. However, he had a brother, Epimetheus. Zeus, the king of all gods, extended his wrath to not just Epimetheus, but everyone that was living in the village. Zeus was angry because Epimetheus told Prometheus to provide water for the village.
I watched as Odysseus took out my son’s eye. He was blinded. I just stood and watched as my youngest son was blinded. I felt more furious in my entire lifetime. “I can’t just stand by and watch my children be destroyed by mortals; it’s not what I do. For heaven’s sake, I am the God of the sea. My children can’t be picked off one by one with me sitting in the corner fretting. My god, Zeus, I can’t do anything without you nagging me about it. You believe that just because you’re the god of lightning, you’re better than Hades and I. Your only brothers and you can’t support one. It’s sad really. I work this hard and you don’t even help me avenge my son,” I boomed, almost as loud as his thunder.
Zeus: in the beginning of Greek mythology, there was Cronos, a titan and god of time. He married his sister rhea, the titan goddess of fertility and motherhood. Cronos became king by killing his father. His father said that one of his sons would eventually take over his throne. After each of his children was born, he swallowed them to prevent the prophecy from coming true. Rhea was mad so when Zeus, god of sky and thunder, was born she gave him to a Sheppard family for them to raise him and pretended that a rock, wrapped in blankets, was the baby. Cronos swallowed the rock thinking it was Zeus. rhea brought Zeus back and pretended he was the new cupbearer. Zeus and rhea prepared a drink. They gave it to Cronos and he threw up all of Zeus’
