Teratogenic effects: if left untreated beyond 18th week of gestation o Deafness o Cognitive challenge o Osteochondritis o Extreme rhinitis(sniffles) o Syphilitic rash o Primary teeth -> oddly shaped > Hutchinson teeth o Fetal death
