Maintaining the Voting Age

Voting almost feels like holding the key to the future. With one single ballot, you're making a difference. Lowering the voter age would decrease voter turnout, increse the amount of irresponsible voters, and cause stress in teens. Having the voting age set to 16 would decrese voter turnout. Transportaion would be an issue with younger voters, because some states in the U.S. don't permit a license until the age of 17. The percentage of voters ages 18-24 is already at a low 38%. From the low statistics, it is safe to make a prediction on the age 16 being a low voter turnout.

Voting is something that can change the future for the better, or for the worse. Most 16 year olds are not informed
